Its good, but never really discussed

My nigga

We had a thread not too long ago and still gets discussed in cgdgt threads.

Why did it flop?

>Fukuyama Jun
>Surprise of the year
>Sup Forums favorite back then
>best seller, onto the top 10
>Fukuyama Jun
>One of the Longest Light Novels ever written
>Saved Fantasy genre back then.
>Fukuyama Jun
>Good OST
>Good Animation
>Infodumping Done right
>Fukuyama Jun
>Actually Well written characters
>Excelent Concept
>Fukuyama Jun

>Flopped in japan because "lol we forgot about publicy"
>Autor left the novels inconcluded because he went to write Gay vampires

I care about the LN, but translations stopped if I recall correctly.

I saw this.

The Count of Monte Cristo was far better.

>Kana Hanazawa as the main girl
they had it coming

>>Flopped in japan because "lol we forgot about publicy"
>>Autor left the novels inconcluded because he went to write Gay vampires

FUCKIN' TRAGEDY

the worst part is that he is doing it because he has no money to support himself while writting the novels. He is literally fucking around with Gay Vampires to keep this Light Novel series Alive.

OP was great but still was LN shit at the end of the day. Also dat 3DCG was horrendous.

SENPAIIIIIIIII

What do anons think of ED2?

Second ED was good too. Shit video because copyrights.

Excellent taste

I know this has fans though.

What is worse is that normally the author usually just does pretend faggotry with his MCs, but eventually he always ends up with the heroine, but in the gay vampires, the MC may be actually a legit faggot just to cater to the fanbase.
Smugfu deserves better than that.

It's one of the few series that really deliver on the onmyouji combat so it's hard to forget.

Great show, but the pacing was terrible. Second season never.

...

Sunrise and had cute girl designs

Obligatory.

People don't talk about this anymore other than that one thread a few weeks back. Weird.

Are you fucking blind?

This is just my assumption but the LN flopped because it felt too much like shoujo in some respects and its hard for a shoujo like light novel to become mainstream.

Also, Japanese magic wasn't different enough to capture Japanese attention.

Also, the revival of dead people made tension and anticipation difficult to achieve because it makes death not feel permanent.

I'm not being ironic but one of the few live actions that manage to do something anime or manga cannot: make onmyouji combat actually cool.

Actually the LN is selling fine, it's the anime that flopped.

People talked about it though.
Gamers on the other hand has been completely forgotten now even though it was 2nd most popular on MAL and threads which reached the bump limits.

Gankutsuou has always been in the obligitory reccomendation camp, but there's nothing much to talk about. The homothreads will never forget it, though.

While reading the Count of Monte Cristo in high school and later on as a college student I couldn't stop but think to myself, This needs a giant robot fight.

Every thread.

I wouldn't say forgotten but rather never really caught on. Shame because while it's stupid as hell it's so sincerely so.

Also it has the best plot twist ever in that it was literally, Please forgive Hiro. He is an idiot. I trained him wrong on purpose.

what a qt

I heard LN ended recently. Is it true?
There are threads everyweek due to manga chapters, retarded tripshit

It was not that bad

Fuck off retard. If it has memewaifus who get posted constantly then it's not a forgotten anime.

Don't think so, though rumors are that it's ending soon.

>captivating story
no, it was mediocre and generic.
>Well-done fights
maybe well animated? but still predictable and usually just protagonist wank.
>Based on a pretty good source material
>IMPLYING
a very standard haremshit and I'm glad it died.

>good premise
>throws it away 3 chapters in

To many retards here, if it doesn't have a thread every day=forgotten. Even if it's just people not discussing the show because there's not anything new to talk about.

Forgotten by Kirara Fantasia maybe.

>a very standard haremshit and I'm glad it died.
It wasn't even a haremshit. Kitamura's character has zero romantic scenes with him and Natsume/Hokuto/Kon are same person.

Dantes pussied out in the end on The Count of Monte Cristo

Not him, and I liked Tokyo Ravens, but Kon being the same person isn't even revealed until way after the anime.
