Although the series is mediocre, Saekano flat's OP is definitely the best of 2017. The camera work and color juxtaposition is amazing, but the apotheosis has to be when eriri runs through the meadow and the camera quickly cuts to a lower view showing only the outline of her legs sprinting then quickly cuts back. Everything about this op is pure kino. Kubikiri's op, cobalt world is a close contender with the elevation of music into the guillotine symbolism.
