CGDCT thread

What's the reason of CGDCT's popularity in Sup Forums?

Because hardly anyone actually has appreciation for the many elements of good storytelling.

Because Sup Forums is full of degenerates.

More like what's the reason of shonen shit popularity in Sup Forums?

Spics and other third world shits

Whatever you do, it's just truth that shounen manga has a lot of potential.

I'm in love with sharo!

I've found that as I've grown up and become a functioning member of society I've come to enjoy CGDCT much more than before. It's nice to watch an episode or two in the evening after a day of work, whereas I'd just have found it boring as a teenager.

Hentai manga:

You hardly if ever find most of those in hentai manga though.

True but the difference is that these things are actually common place in shounen.

Yeah, but hardly if ever get any of these in them.

Idiot
>Hentai manga
>Can have heartwarming moments of friendship or any kind of relationships.

Think first before posting, shit stain.

This one is still possible

Are you really this dense? Most of the things you listed are found in "good" stories of any kind, across any genre, and in any medium. The exact same list can be used to describe any genre of manga, anime, VNs, LNs, shitty Romance novels, blockbuster Hollywood movies, comic books, childrens' pop-up books, Cantonese cave paintings, and my diary, desu. Everything you have said boils down to "I like shounen manga," which makes you a massive pleb and probably underage. That's what "shounen" manga means, by the way - that it's targeted at males younger than 18 years old. Reminder to lurk 2 years or more before posting.

Good storytelling is rare in anime, let's be honest. An anime with no active plot but good characterization/character dynamics (which is what good CGDCT, like K-On or Hidamari Sketch fall under) is far better than an anime with a bad plot and shit characterization.

Comfy

>good characterization/character dynamics
>Generic moeblobs.
Besides, I want to watch anime because it's better than doing other things like going outside and shit, otherwise, I'll do just that. I'd rather watch a few great shows than hundreds of mediocre ones.

Not in CGDCT though, which can have less than half of those.

comfy and an escape from this filthy world.

Shounen manga is still almost the only one that makes good mind games though.

I don't know, it's just that plot-heavy stuff lost its appeal to me. There's also the yuribait which is compatible with my tastes.

Always this.
