Both of those are among my favourites, Koko wa Samurai no Kuni da is a classic and always gets me emotional, except when it plays in complete joke scenes, and Mitsuba's OST is probably the saddest track in the series for me.

It says the new season will air an indefinite amount of time (so when the manga is done they'll know when they finish). If they planned to break it in two parts they'd say a certain amount of episodes.
