On my Galaxy S7.
I'd use my tablet, but my phone is easier to work with and newer.
Also that superior OLED black white contrast.
This desu
Right to left, just like the Nipponese.
>alienware
On a 16:10 rotated to a vertical position like god intended.
>read their manga
Who does that? I just shitpost here and learn whatever I got to learn about anime & manga through osmosis
>alienware
Well, someone has to read the manga before people know what to shitpost about, right?
>Alienware
lmao
Ayy, Samsung masterrace checking in.
Kobo aura HD eink reader running koreader, with cbz and zips (occasionally epubs of LNs) downloaded from the goddess™ master race
iPad Air. Been using an iPad for manga since the original launched. Incoincidencally I have not spent a thin dime on localized manga since 2010. Currently using iComic for zip/rar and Mangabird and MangaRock for webskims.
I use a tablet and a browser. Does anyone know an app for downloaded manga that doesn't have adds? Price wouldn't matter.
Is the screen large enough and the quality good?
with this, just install google play (which is really easy, youtube it)
the tablet goes on sale pretty often for a 100 bucks and since the screen is 10 inch, reading manga on it is pretty easy on the eyes and looks great
Tab S 8.4" tucked up in bed with warm blankets and leaning against soft pillows. With a mug of nice tea. Only a degenerate would read manga on a phone, probably online readers.
Yeah it's pretty good, though I have to rotate the orientation for double spread pages to be able to read the text. Other than that it's perfect.
The slightly smaller screen (6.8", compared to my previous tablet, Nexus 7 with a 7") is worth the trade off for the eink in my opinion.
Manga Rock on my OnePlus one.
Before that I had an IPhone 4, read all of Jojo on it somehow.
On a tiny 5" phone lmao. It sucks.
On my 3DS.
I buy the manga from Amazon and wait for it to arrive at my house.
You would think that, noob.
Thanks for paying the way for us pirates you cuck
>falling for the "alienware is shit" meme
>paying the way
>paying
Nigger I bought an alienware. They're overpriced to fucking hell and back.
One of these. I've tried tablets, ereaders, physical copies, phones, regular monitors, even my 50" TV, but a portrait monitor is by far the best way to read manga.
Thinking of buying one of these. 2 monitors and one of these should be good
Print them in A4s and read.
I'm joking, but i remember seeing that happen somewhere.
>Can’t read from comfort of bed
>Doesn’t have intuitive pinch zoom and swipe controls
>Doesn’t have 321ppi density display
Your an idiot. You likely used cheap as shit android tablets too
It's not shit, it's overpriced for what it is.
You don't need pinch when your screen isn't fuck-tiny and the difference between swiping and pushing a key is basically trivial.
it's not shit, it just looks gay as fuck
Calm down, tablet is my easy second choice and I use it if I feel like reading in bed or when I'm out, on a train etc. But I am usually more comfortable sitting at my desk with my legs on the table and just pressing arrow keys or scrolling instead of having to physically hold a tablet. I also like seeing bigger images. Swiping and zooming is annoying, not sure why you think it's a plus.
Do these vertical monitors cost much?
Tablet
assuming non-physical manga
I have a microsoft surface, so I just use it like a tablet
Your a fucking idiot if you’re claiming you’ve never WANTED to zoom into a manga panel before. A tablet sitting a foot away with 320ppi display looks a shitton better than your blurry monitor
On my tablet lying in the bed and it's fucking amazing.
lol
You're reading on a phone.
Consider if you've ever needed those features in a properly printed book.
No, you can just buy an arm and many monitors come with rotating stands anyway.
Is that the chapter they are cleaning the steps? That's weird as fuck, I just reread that today on a phone because I wanted to try reading manga on it instead of my pc or tablet. I can't stand it.
Tablet you poor as fuck mong. Bigger than a printed manga and at less than 1lbs nearly as light
>Cold as shit outside
>Be in bed
>Be in blanket
>One hand around my cat
>One hand on my phone
>Read manga until sleep
Maximum comfy
Why does he have three same figures? One for each room in his house?
One for looking, one for rectum inserting, one for mouth sucking / licking
>and it's fucking amazing
how do you lie down? i can almost never get comfortable to read anymore since i was a kid, i have to be sitting up. though i've been bodybuilding for 7 years
>lie on stomach, crushes quads
>lie on side with arm up, hard to scroll pages or crushes lats
>lie on side on my arm, crushes triceps
>holding tablet in the air on back, tiring as fuck
On my wii.
Holy fuck, my monitor can actually do that.
The correct way to lay down if you lift is flat on your back with no pillow. And holding a tablet in this position should be the easiest thing I think the world to someone trained. If you are. Appear, then use one pillow and prop the tablet on your chest.
Kindle Paperwhite (2016) jp
it doesn't get far enough from my face on my back if my triceps are resting on the bed though. i sleep on pretty much a tatami and the closest thing i can get to comfy reading is 3 pillows stacked up and putting the book on my stomach but it rapes my neck after like 40 minutes
Either actual books or on my monitor in portrait
Thanks. I thought even 8 inch devices might be too small. I think I'll get the 7.8 inch Kobo Aura One.
Just buy a full motion monitor arm/stand unless you don't care about pointlessly burning cash
Nexus 7 + perfect viewer
There was an infograph about using e-readers for manga, anyone still has it?
I'm stuck between this or a Kobo ereader, Kobo specifically since I'm not forced to use amazon for series selection and kobo works with cbr files as far as I've researched
On the back, I use pillows to support my spine though since it's fucked.
>holding tablet in the air on back, tiring as fuck
>i've been bodybuilding for 7 years
Believable, but anyway, just switch hands when one gets tired. I read around 2 hours a day, sometimes more when I get too immersed, but I don't really get tired. Maybe your tablet is way too big.

The 7-inch tablet to me is a great size for it.
I have an S7. Way too small to be comfortable reading. Don't you find there is far too much zooming needed?
what part isn't believable? big lifts don't make holding something over your head less tiring, it's more effort for me than a dyel
Ur cycling must have fucked your ur circulation breh. And your not holding it over your head ur holding it in front of you. Your arms are almost neutral when your back is straight and shoulders pulled back in proper position. Only your fingers should feel any tension (from the edges of the tablet case pressing into them)
They are overpriced computer. If you want to buy a premade "gaming" computer I would recommend cyberpower computers.
>ur holding it in front of you
i don't like looking down to read and the only way i can do this is with 3 pillows like i said. i just tried it
Why did you bring up bodybuilding then? I did some too for 2 years, my form is not too bad right now and I don't have many problems reading on my back, I guess it's not as relaxing as it should be at first, but I think you will get used to it with time.
No not down. Straight forward. When your back is straight your looking at the ceiling. Your arms are still in line with your heart though so they should tire in the same way if you were actually holding them above your head
>Kobo aura HD eink reader
Is it easy to jailbreak/mod?
Dont buy kindle for manga, the screen is way smaller than a manga page normally is.
A tablet is probably better, you can have music and shit with it.
because it wasn't a problem before i got huge. i used to put pillows on my chest and hang off the edge looking down to read
flat on your back with no pillows and you can naturally read with your arms resting on the same surface you are lying down on? are you lanky kong? i just tried it again i don't get how this is supposed to make your arms not tired with having to lift them off the bed
Yeah I'm taking a look at the Nexus lineup, might just go with a 7 or something cheaper
My old $70 tablet in my bed covered in blanket.
My brother.
Aren’t your pecs big enough for your equally as huge tris to rest on comfortably while you hold your arms in front of you? I don’t have this problem
Get these
foamforyou.com
one between your thighs, one under your head and one to rest your arm on when lying on your side.
A tablet stand would help.
how the hell would your triceps be touching your pecs if your arms are held in front of you? like a peekaboo stance?
Yeah turn your elbows in and drop them a bit. Your tris can rest slightly on your chest
then my arms are at too wide a stance to hold the book though unless i'm holding something like 16 inches wide
Pretty much me exactly one month ago, but now on a OP5t.
Definitive or bust.
U have shoulder mobility issues? Hold the tablet like ur doing skull crushers
>holding the tablet behind my head
>somehow i can read this
you're going to have to draw it or something i don't get what you're saying. how is this any better than me just holding up the phone on my back which isn't comfy at all
I just found this out with my second monitor as well, this seems pretty good for reading manga and doujins.
I own a manga shop and I read all of the manga before selling it
Sufficiently large TV as second monitor while in bed, in the natural state of undress and covered in at least a half-dozen blankets for maximum comfort and coziness. Wireless mouse under the covers handles all necessary functions for reading with just scroll wheel, left & right clicks and leaves the left hand free to do what it will, should the need arise. There really is nothing better. I don't know how anyone can bear the shitty experience of reading on a tiny phone screen.
how far away from your bed? this is pretty much how i watch anime but i'd hate having to scroll around for manga
About 6 burger units.
>naked and alone in bed
Why?
>being a normalfag
>portrait monitor
I've though about getting a stand to rotate my shit but one of the good things about my tablet is that it gets me away from my PC. If I went back to reading on my PC I'd just be switching tabs to check Sup Forums every few minutes because I can't be at my computer without doing that.
It's nice to just suspend my PC, get away from my desk and lay down somewhere to read manga uninterrupted and unconnected to the internet.
They are like Apple products, usable but overpriced. It's your choice but there are other products with much better value.
In physical form, the only acceptable way.
I download them into a folder called Books&Comics and read them on my laptop.
In my phone mostly, but bato.to is not very mobile friendly.
Acer Predator Helios 300 has my vote
Nook HD+ with Perfect Viewer.
I buy a lot of my manga.
I wrote a batch script to download all the chapters then I put it on my Samsung tablet and use Comic book readers.
I use something called Comic_dl it's supposed to work but didn't so I wrote the batch script to take over some of it's functions.
Alienware is overpriced and it makes you look stupid for paying so much.
Rotating my monitor changed my life.
I suck on my ethernet cable until I find a manga I like
Just use cum
