This filler adventure was actually pretty decent. I'm surprised I enjoyed it. Also i'm glad to see some characterization from Klaus. Even though Black Clover is very generic, i'm glad it doesn't always focus on the MC but focuses on the others and not just for one time only and then completely forget about them. 9/10 episode.

I read and watched all of Fairy Tail and the only characters I liked in that series is Juvia and Gray and Gajeel. But in Black Clover, I legitimately love most of the characters that are introduced and we see most often. I even love everyone from the Black Bulls. This series has great characters and great characterization I give it that.

I remember enjoying Lucy's character, if only because I enjoy summon magic by default and I felt as though she matured the most out of the cast in terms of characterization and overall fighting ability.
Though you're right, BC really has a strong cast of characters. I think the only characters I outright despise are Noelle's siblings and that one asshole space mage from the Golden Lions. Then again, seeing them BTFO'd by the people they believed were weaker than them was satisfying to see.
