Why does MC-kun never wear any of these?

Why does MC-kun never wear any of these?

face-covering helmets dehumanize people. usually not what you want for an MC

the others look dumb

Sallet a best.

Things like Roman helmet are hard to animate

Barbuta is my helmfu. It's a shame that people who wear them tend to die.

Nah, kettle best girl. She's kind of a slut though, since everyone uses her.

...

we have that manga where the MC wears a helmet to hide his skull face.

Forgot the title.

Why does MC-kun never wear one of these?

>no anime about a Conquistador going through the jungles of central America with a qt Aztec blood mage

Goblin Slayer

Great Helm is best, you retards.

>wanting yet another anime about colonial genocide

Not as the protags/MCs...

how else am I supposed to get off

Excellent taste.

There are a handful of manga mc's that wear those, though.

This.

Looks more like a helm for kickboxing.

The solution is, making the helmet part of the character's persona. See Goblin Slayer. In tokusatsu, their helmet IS the persona people knows. Custom special mecha also serves this purpose. In the world wars, pilots can't see other one's face, but other pilots will tremble simply by seeing a red Fokker Triplane, its The Red Baron. This was the case too in the olden days, people customize their helmet to be individually recognizable. Lets say in Sengoku Jidai, a glimpse of giant crescent crest instantly tells its Date Masamune.
I hope with that you mean the 14th century later sugarloaf or Zaragosa greathelms with pointier tip, not one of those earlier buckets.
