This is the first bad thing that shaft made.

Again this is a movie. PG13 and only 90 minutes long. There's no reason this would've been good to begin with. Really ask yourself when the last time anything a mere 90 minutes was actually good?

Haven't seen this yet, but I'm disappointed if the movie is as bad as everyone said. The manga which the movie is based on is written by Shunji Iwai, director of Lily Chouchou and Hana to Alice, two movies I really love.
I blame all on Shaft for this. Wonder why they won't let him direct his own story.

Are you sure you're not going to blame Shunji Iwai since more of his movies are rated on the low-end of things?

This song makes me want to watch it, Nearly 10m views in 4 months wew.

It was pretty mediocre. The main thing I remember from the film was how everybody acted a little like psychopaths.

There was that part where the friend of the MC chased them all the way up to that tower. There he is, running at them and yelling about how mad he is that the MC stole his girl. Then the scene cuts to the MC and the girl falling off the tower. Apparently, the guy just fucking pushed both of them over and to their deaths.

There was also the part where the step-father of the girl punched the MC so hard he was unconscious for like 3 minutes and left his body on the station platform with no fucks given.
