White Album

What did Sup Forums think of this series? (Referring to season 1 since I just finished it and the second entry seems to be mostly unrelated)

I really enjoyed the music, characters and story for the most part, it got a bit convoluted towards the end.
It seems like Touya and Yuki weren't even seeing each other any more in the second half of the series, making the whole love/betrayal thing with her manager/Rina/Misaki/Haruka/Menou seem pointless.
If they weren't dating or seeing each other regularly then why shouldn't he fool around? Seemed to me that their love was one sided and he just didn't want to let her go because of his guilt.

Also can someone please explain what the fuck was going on with the paintings (sorry, am brainlet)
Eiji loved the painting he saw one time in London, somehow the rival president lady (forgot her name already) found this out and decided to use it against him.
She "tricked" him into giving her record company Rina, his studio and presumably cash too. Then the painting turned out to be fake, but he has 10 other similar paintings which are supposedly worth a fortune.

I really enjoyed it a lot. The show is a lot more subtle than people seem to give it credit for. It's been a while so I can't remember smaller details but I know re-watched it once and understood/appreciated it even more.

I still don't get the hate for the original.

It's been awhile, but I felt I didn't like the story as much especially the ending. Though the music in the show was nice.

I think I enjoyed it more because I'm an amateur musician and have worked in a studio before. I can see why it might be boring to the average harem loving casual. Plus it is pretty drawn out, and it's not the typical happily ever after ending you'd probably want after 26 episodes of drama.

Lots of talking on phones. Wondering why I even finished it as it wasn't a visual experience. Both are equally trash.

It's shit. Lots of drama because of some accidents. Touya accidently misses calls from Yuki because he was out with Haruka, accidently runs past the phone both where Yuki was standing etc. And the whole plot happened because AMNESIA. It's shit.
Rina best girl.

Lol at EOPs who will never play Harada's original WA, the remake or Maruto's WA2.

>oh no I'll never play a trashy VN whatever shall I do

At least you get to watch its trashy anime adaptation, eh?

Yes. A trashy VN makes for a trashy anime.

>Lots of talking on phones.
>Touya accidently misses calls from Yuki
This got to the point where it was like a running joke. I laughed when Yuki bought him an answering machine for Christmas.

>Rina best girl.
That's not how you spell Shinozuka.

Nah, lots of talking on phones just means something is poorly written

Rina deserved to win.

The spiked tea plot was fucked up, I didn't see it coming.
How did she go from being unable to speak to belting out a full on lead vocal at a concert?

I don't know to be honest, the plot was weird. Still I feel that Rina was the only likable heroine in the show. I loved the final concert, Powder Snow is a classic.

Sour grapes the post.

No, continue finding excuses to justify your life choices though

>Powder Snow
Woooooooooooooooow

...

Post cute pics of Rina.

Will you be getting it?

...

What's the meaning of this?

Remember when Aya Hirano was popular?

literally who?

She's voicing the new girl in Catherine remake.
