Black Clover

Why is BnHA more popular than this? Both protagonists have similar circumstances but different personalities. Asta is a scrub but he's always optimistic and has a healthy sexual urges for a young boy, while Deku is a pessimistic, virgin doofus with a dorky costume. Both lack natural talent but work hard with their new found powers but it seems Deku just asspulls his way around things and Asta actually learns how to use his powers.

What are your thoughts? Why isn't BC more popular?

The anime for BnHA is a lot lot better. From what people say here the mangas aren't that far apart quality wise.

Let's not. Make it too popular

Boku became so pupular I started to hate it.
People on twitter started comparing it to one punch man

Both Asta and Deku are shit along with their series. BnHA is popular because of the supporting characters who are also shit but faggots like them.

because BC is too generic of a shonen manga.

Clover anime is not as good as the manga, they seem to be targeting a younger crowd. MC voice actor is naruto levels annoying and they are adding a bunch of slapstick that is nowhere in the manga.

BC is generic and ugly. Every design is gaudy.
The voice acting is bad.
It knocks off Naruto like BNHA does, but BC does it worse.
There just isn't anything special about BC.

The black clover anime shat the bed when it aired. Anime original filler to start the season? Bad move. Everyone criticized the series and made it out to be a joke for anyone who wasn't already the a fan of the manga. Even without that it just looks like the same troupey shounen trash that I got tired of a decade ago.

BnHA wasn't as hyped when it started airing if I remember correctly. It only gained momentum because it was good and something different. Second season was not as good and started the decline into troupeland IMO. If S3 doesn't wow me I'm jumping ship.

>If S3 doesn't wow me I'm jumping ship.
If they don't fuck it up season 3 will be the best arcs. You still should jump ship after season 3 because since those arcs it hasn't been that good.

It's as generic as it gets and not interesting in the slightest. Not even Fairy Tail was this bland.

>Not even Fairy Tail was this bland.
That kinda makes me wanna check it out if anything can truly be this bad.

It's probably better than Fairy Tail overall. The problem is that while you will remember the good and the (lots of) awful parts of FT for a while, you'll probably forget all about BC, because everything is so damn generic.

Not memorable is almost worse in that regard I guess.

Because is just bad and deku is an actual character with highs and lows

>BnHA wasn't as hyped when it started airing if I remember correctly
>Second season was not as good and started the decline into troupeland IMO
What a shitty ass opinion

Episode 15 - Mage of Diamond 「ダイヤモンドの魔道士」 (chapter 13's title)
Episode 16 - Comrade 「仲間」 (chapter 14's title)
Episode 17 - Destroyer 「破壊者」 (chapter 17's title)
Episode 18 - Memories of You 「追憶の君」 (chapter 19's title)

Black clover isn't more popular because of the cancerous voice he got and his constant screaming

Nah, Fairy Tail was good for the first 100 chapters. Black Clover was never good.

>Fairy Tail was good for the first 100 chapters
Hell no.

I dropped this because the kid that can't use magic screams all of his lines and it's really fucking annoying to listen to.

Sure, spank me user, I'm still right. Having a slow rise to fame had nothing to do with how good S1 is, Being hyped out the fucking wazoo had nothing to do with S2 being nowhere near as good.

But OP asked, why is BnHA more popular and the critical reception that BC had compared to a slow and steady positive ride to the top BnHA had is and extremely significant factor. I'm curious to hear what you think.

Bad pacing, naruto and bnha fags hating on it because it’s a threat.

Execution is shit, a total letdown from a slightly above mediocre manga.

MIMOSA A BEST

A BEST

Dub Dubs for Truth.

Thanks for the heads up. I hear the mangaka becomes unable to solve conflicts without using asspulls everywhere after a certain point in the story.

>Having a slow rise to fame had nothing to do with how good S1 is, Being hyped out the fucking wazoo had nothing to do with S2 being nowhere near as good.
If S1 wasnt hyped nobody would care about S2

MHA was critically acclaimed before its anime. BC was shat on before its anime.

This is Grey.

Say something nice to her.

>BnHA wasn't as hyped when it started airing if I remember correctly
You remember very wrong. The anime was among the most anticipated ones of its season and people generally liked.
>Second season was not as good and started the decline into troupeland IMO
You're on your own on that one. Its universally considered better than the first season.

It wasn't. It was the same shit as always, you just forgot about it.

>I don't like it so its bad and I don't need a any other reason for it

S1 was popular, but holy fuck S2 just took the normalfags by surprise, cannot blame them, it's a great shonen

Fairy Tail entire problem was that it was always the same. You probably noticed the loop around chapter 100

The MC is an ADHD retard with the power of EDGE BOOK.

Dekku is bad but the MC in Black Clover is downright repulsive to the extreme.

>slow rise to fame
The manga was already a top seller and the anime followed suit out the gate.
Not really
Even if I said no you pretty much had made your decision before you even read it.

What a gay ass thread

When were those traits the basis for judging any character? You can have hot blooded characters be written well or like shit. Same with underdog characters. You seem to just have a chip on your shoulder.

>Deku just asspulls his way around things and Asta actually learns how to use his powers.

oooo you were so close, op

>BlackClovercuck trying to pick a fight with HeroAcaChads
