Hinomaru anime will adapting all 1st part (chapter 1 to 159 means volume 1 to 17)

Toei confirmed?

is this true? pls no

Where does it imply toei?

I read it when it started and got to chapter 20. I somehow stopped reading it but it from what I remember it was really fun and I always regret that nobody here talks about it.

It gets a lot better from point on the entire and game of the high school finals is amazing.

So I hope anime will boost manga sales and its popularity and overall be a good adaptation.

>Toei confirmed?
Why, because of the length? I'd rather it be Pierrot than Toei.

probably Production I.G again, they did haikyuu and kuroko

That would be for the best.

I don't know if the length is a factor when choosing a studio, but those were animated in 20 something episode seasons. OP says they plan to adapt 17 volumes.

Toei is not confirmed, but the anime covering the first 17 volumes is true

You can fit that in a 2 cour maybe 3 series. How many volumes did the first season of the KnB anime cover

>they did haikyuu and kuroko
Because they were popular Zumo ain't

yes it is and with a anime it definitely gets a huge boost

I have neither watched nor read that series, but I'm seeing it has 75 episodes and 30 volumes. Proportionally, 17 volumes should be about 42 episodes.

I don't think so HZ don't really have fujo appeals

Tbf kuroko wasn't particularly popular until it got the anime it sold reasonably but not amazingly. The anime is what really pushed the series. Obviously basketball is an inherently easier to sell sport than sumo

Two 2 cour seasons would do it. Or one long adaptation.

first pick would be perfect

Toei with the tiger mask w team would be nice

This manga is fucking garbage.

What don't you like about it?

Thanks for proving you have shit taste. Now fuck off.

Anyway, for the thread:

Toei isnt confirmed, and why should it be?

A VERY BIG part of the series are the fights. And despite them taking sometimes 2 chapters, sometimes 3 and sometimes even 5 chapters, they are a lot of times more focused on visual than on dialogue.
Inner thoughts happen but they arent long enough to make each battle become longer than at most 5 to 7 minutes straight.

The fact that everything pre-timeskip will get animated means that they dont need to stretch out anything. They can make a reasonable pacing for the events and have the battles play out exactly like in the manga.

Fact is, despite having 159 chapters for part 1 the pacing could become 4 to 5 chapters or higher even. So that means the manga would be 30 episodes at least and up to 50 eps.

My guess is that it will be 40 or so episodes. Enough time to adapt all of the manga without feeling like they put in more chapters than needed and without feeling like more would have fit into a episode.

But i dont really care who gets the studio desu. I just want a amazing looking great soundtrack having contact sport anime like Ippo.

Everything.
> shit taste faggot accusing others in that
what an irony

Yeah basically the fights are short in real-time it's typically why you get all sorts of back story in the middle of fights rather than outside.

You do realise your reaction image just confirms your shot taste to that user but alas trolls will be trolls.

If you know he's a troll then don't respond

> he have good taste for being able to recognize garbage while some Sup Forums faggots can't
> M-MUST BE A TROLL H-HEHE

Damn you got me

I'll take anything but Toei. I just wonder if 2 cour would be just a bit too quick paced.

Fucking trash. It'll flop instantly.

Are you the same user that kept saying it'd get cancelled when it was blatantly obvious if wouldn't and only a moron would think so?

Toei already did another sumo series and always out for potential big jump series.
Pierrot already have a lot of series being done and the others can’t handle a long running series.

Sports shounen not named ippo are rarely long running. Even Kuroko which was by all accounts a success wasn't particularly long.

This adaptation is just following the high school section

>and the others can’t handle a long running series
Well, Madhouse did Ippo which was like 70 episodes. Have they ever done a Jump series?

that was almost 20 years ago nigga, they did one or two, one of them was neuro
