Write a plot for a suspense-thriller

...

two kids get their friendship tested as they venture into a mean old mans way-bigger-than-it-looks basement to retrieve their baseball

>suspense-thriller
Why is this such a rare occurrence in anime? The closest thing we got this season was Inuyashiki

A man walks by a raingutter and has a fleeting thought about what would happen if his keys dropped down in there.

...it actually happens.

need too much brain power that's why

the weekly-format is so perfect for it though.

A teenage boy needs to masturbate but the walls are very thin and his younger sister is having a sleep over in the living room

High schooler with special ability is only guy that can stop serial killer which kills women in rural japanese town

A guy with a power to relive each day twice. Events that happen on the first day do not carry over to the next day, only the events that occur on the second day carry over. It's like Groundhog Day except it only happens once for each day. If the character dies in either day/reality, he dies for real in both realities. That's the premise, see if you can make a suspense-thriller out of it.

>late in the night in an empty candle-lit church
>a likable poor loli begs the priest to let her brother off from the service in the monostery
Fuck, I really tried, OP, but I still ended up with a hentai.

I like that but I would make two guys have same ability and one acting as hero and one as villain. I'm stealing that for my short story

The other idea was that one guy has the forementioned ability, while another guy has a similar ability except the events of the first day happen and don't carry over, but the events of the second day do carry over. Essentially, there's 3 realities occuring but only one has impact in the real world.

guy is elevated to kingpinhood in a seedy gang area by a mysterious and shady benefactor who turns out to be his guardian angel trying so very hard to keep the guy safe and happy just as God has ordained him to

the reason why he chose organised crime is that the world's around is kinda shit and you cant do well without organised crime, besides the angel's afraid of what's after death as well and dreams of eternity like anyone else

Oops, I messed that up. The second ability makes the events on the first day carry over, but the events of the second day don't.

OT but I always loved his jacket

>world-changing tragedies are linked to random innocent people
>if you kill the innocent person, it prevents the tragedy from happening
>MC gets the power to locate these people

That's interesting too and would work even better with two characters with this ability, since they would have to second quess each other at which day would carry over.

It's like death note but with texting

Like death note but with kinect so it doesn't work 90% of the time

>it only works when he kills them in really specific and gruesome way varying from person

mirai nikki

with written diaries? Excelent idea

>it's the 50s
>there's a string of *seemingly* unrelated deaths
>MC is a detective trying to find the killer before it's too late
>His sweetheart is captured and he rescues her
>perp turns out to be a deranged manchild guy who lived with his mother and hated these women because they were popular
>saxophone jazz in the OP and ED

How'd I do, Sup Forums?

>MC is just an ordinary guy in high school
>one day there's a mysterious new transfer student
>he has a grudge against MC for some reason
>turns out he's an alien and MC looks just like his rival
>series ends with new kid and MC teaming up to take down some big bad
>user's tough female friend is head of student council
>she lectures him and treats him like shit, but likes him deep down
>his bespectacled female friend is really smart, spends a lot of time in the library, but is super nervous around anyone who isn't MC
>MC's best friend is a scruffy haired troublemaker who gets rejected by women often
>There's a beach episode
>there's a shinto-themed school festival episode

Someone pls r8

Hmmm
Sounds like a supernatural SoL anime more than a thriller

A crewman wakes up in a bunk on a mining colony above Calisto. Two angry looking guards want to bring him in. They take him to an airlock and want to question him for allegedly slashing the throat of a woman he was involved with. They try to interrogate him on the spot, but aren't very good at it and find out nothing. After the crewman tries to struggle and escape, they stomp him and flush him out the airlock. He wakes up next day with the strangest sensation. Apparently the colony's AI did an emergency upload of his mind. He has access to the colony's cameras, microphones and file system, but can only interact with other people on the station in a limited way. He finds out that the two guards faked his suicide and removed all evidence that would incriminate them. The crewman now needs to solve his own murder and find the motives behind the conspiracy, while taking care not to be found out and erased for good.

Two ayylmao are traveling across the universe when their spaceship suddenly stops moving. After investigating, they realize a sabotage happened but there is no one else inside.
Upon watching the cameras, they see themselves sabotaging their own ship. Having no recollection of ever doing something so self-detrimental, they freak out and start to argue if their time in space drove them insane. A message comes to their spaceship, asking for help and warning for any to leave the area before it is too late. The ayylmao duo objects it because there is no way they can leave and they wonder how the message could even reach them in the first place. To their horror, the message was sent with their own signature and it is from 500 years ago. At the peak of their confusion, they verify their own position with an external device and realize their ship is actually still moving somehow even after malfunctioning. At the current direction, the ship will crash on an Asteroid. The duo argues if the external radar is actually working or not, with one of them choosing to believe it and the other doesn't. The one who believes it decides to stop the ship whatever the cost, while the other tries to find an external device to ask for help. Upon meeting again after completing their own self-assigned tasks, they both say they forgot to thank the other for changing their minds and helping. Now the ship starts to move, but the external radar doesn't show it moving. They calmly sit on their chairs, waiting for the end of it all. They will keep waiting, 500 years ago. They did wait, Sup Forums.

if you put the person with the power as an investigator or something of the genre, it would give incredibly certain

Jojo part 4 is literally this, though that's probably the joke

really always a case of one thriller per year

just not popular

>40 year old survivalist enthusiast obsessed with being prepared for the end of the world dies while saving a person in the wilderness.
>gets isekai'd into a 6 year old girl in the middle of a modern city immediately following a "Life after People" / Rapture disaster event. Is the only person on earth.
>Starts out with him dealing with the immediate loss of people (IE: cars out of control, planes falling from skies, ETC) and progresses down the line as city systems start to fail.
>realizes that he has 5-7 days to find a place to escape radiation explosions from nuclear reactors. Safest location is a forest 70 miles away.
>now must escape the city while adapting his survival skills to his tiny size and strength in order to survive.

A man nearing his mid 40s receives messages asking him to kill his neighbour, and in return he'll receive 1 billion yen.
However, he later discovers that his next door neighbour is actually the reincarnation of Oda Nobunaga, and together they seek out the person(s) sending the messages, where it is discovered that the messages have been sent from an extra-terrestrial source, meaning the pair will be forces to time travel to make their way to space and track down the mysterious sender.
This tale will show the true meaning of friendship and that love can be found in the strangest of places

A fresh hire police officer uncovers a terrorist plot to set off a dirty bomb in Tokyo during a drug bust. He has to team up with a fromer yakuza soldier gone straght in order to piece together the clues to the bombs location and the motives for such a sinister plot. Will they bring those responsible to justice? Will they make it out of the web of lies alive? Find out this summer: On the Beat

That seems like it would get into Primer tier confusing timelines really quickly.

That's just the story of my life ages 13-19

not bad/10, but personally I'd prefer if the culprit wasn't just a manchild. I personally think it would be better if the perp was somehow tied in with the story.

>solve his own murder
I like the sound of that. my one concern is how are you going to portray the guards? do you want them to be serious or comical? otherwise it's solid

>isekai that doesn't involve NEET getting transferred to fantasy world
I like it

What exactly does suspense thriller imply?

Pretty good, but I think if the perp wasn't a man child but someone who seemed very normal would be better. Or maybe he starts deteriorating when he hasn't killed someone for a certain amount of time.

3 different students are planning on shooting their school, independent of each other and without anyone knowing the plan of the other 2. Student, 1 would have a change of heart and would try to better himself. Student 2 would go through his plan but would only manage to kill student 1 before having a panic attack an fainting. Student 3 would then arrive due to waking up late and kill the rest of the students, except student 2 (due to him fainting and falling down, so student 3 thinks he already killed him or something like that). After the incident everyone thinks student 2 is just a lucky survivor and move on, blaming all murders on student 3. The rest of the plot would be basically a knock-off of Crime and Punishment, with a detective noting that student 1's death doesn't fit the rest and trying to catch student 2.

A high schooler, or perhaps a college student is about to take his own life. He is about to jump under the train, but is instead killed by an explosion, along with a bunch of salarymen.

He wakes up as a middle school girl.

In his (well, now her) new body, with the pain of what happened still fresh in his mind, the MC sets out to solve the mystery of what exactly claimed his old life.

As he starts looking into the people killed in the explosion, who all seem to be connected (with the MC the only odd one out), and as he tries to understand more about the girl whose body he took over, her new life comes into danger, with escalating dangers - going from school bullying, to eventually outright attempts on her life.

But once he solves the final piece, so does the rest of the country.

All screens across Japan are now showing his own face. She - that is, the girl that used to occupy MC's current body - was behind everything, from the blast that killed the MC originally, to the trials that she put her own body through.

The final puzzle for the MC is to solve the mystery of this body switch, all while being hunted by the police, and the people he befriended.

A new person moves into town and people start dying, and like anyone would think, they go after the new guy. After they kill the new guy things die down, but then someone else comes into town and people start dying all over again. Everyone thinks it's the new guy but when they go check on him, he was also a victim. However after the guy died things die down hey again. The MC starts thinking that the real murderer is actually one of the people in town. He goes with one of his friends to look for clues all around town. After getting evidence from all the murders he found the real murderer. However when he tried to apprehend the criminal, he found out that he died a week ago. The murders continue until the MC decides to look into the guy's past. He later finds out that a few years ago his friend left the town for the city. He starts getting very suspicious of his friend as his friend was saying a lot of things that conflicted with the evidence. Soon MC decides to dig up the grave of the criminal to find out that it was empty, but then MC gets killed by his friend. It turned out that his friend was an accomplice of the murderer and the murderer faked his death.

I thought of 2 endings. One where MC dies and everyone thinks he was just a victim and another one where the MC still dies but he had called for backup to catch the criminal.

Journalist is framed for massive money laundering scheme. During police questioning he gets a glance at the fabricated documents that implicates him. Because of reasons, he won't be able to prove they are fake, and decides that rather than facing japanese police's 99% conviction rate, he should escape the police, and go undercover in the criminal world, hoping to find his way to the people who framed him. Weekly episodes has him getting closer to the culprits, gathering evidence, proving his innocence, hoping he can restore justice to his name. All the while he's lamenting that he had to break the law in order to find justice.

A letter was sent into a police station branch, stating that if they can uncover the sender's identity (which claims to be a demon), everyone involved will be granted a wish. Written in the letter are addresses, which leads to 11 persons of interests, who are also on a search for the demon after receiving the same letter.
The letter also laid out several restrictions in the letter that must be followed, which includes finding the demon within six months.

Serious, they're involved in the other murder and other various criminal acts on the station.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess.

I would definitly watch or read story like this, however I think that older girl but childish looking girl would be better

There is bad guy and good man want to catch and stop. Things ensue
