How would you have fixed the TOP?
I'd have a lot of the fodder Z fighters get out much earlier than they did, including one or two well-hyped ones like Frieza or Gohan to make some of the biggest threats seem more serious. This would've forced the remaining ones onto the defensive and offensive, as they'd need to eliminate most of the other fighters to avoid losing due to being outnumbered when time ran out. And have more emphasis on the other universes fighting each other, not just Team 7. It doesn't need to have a ton of detail either when it comes to random nobodies eliminating other random nobodies, the pace needed to be faster.
