I missed the Inuyashiki threads. Just started watching the show and holy hell is it embarrassingly edgy. A little bit of restraint could have gone a long way, if you ask me.

He makes legit entertaining stuff though. Just don't expect anything other than a trainwreck from him.

Inuyashiki was entertaining at times, but it could have been much more.

What prevented it from reaching its full potential was a shitty antagonist, too much focus on the aforementioned shitty antagonist, some downright retarded moments (usually related to Hiro, such as the sperg out where he suddenly decided to destroy Japan) and the rushed ending.

As I said, though, I did have fun with it. The episode where Hiro killed NEETs on 2ch was pretty funny, for example.

I felt exactly the same when the Gantz anime first came out. Everyone was going nuts for it and I thought it was the worst thing I had ever seen.

I even gave the manga the benefit of the doubt but couldn't even get past the part when the gangster takes the naked girl into the other room to rape her? and everyone else there just goes 'oh well, she deserves it for being naked/unconscious, lol what a slut!'
