Should female characters be written to be likable or realistic?

Should female characters be written to be likable or realistic?

They aren't mutually exclusive, unlikeable and unrealistic aren't necessarily bad traits either (in a villain, for example).

The important thing is not solely existing for either waifu or fapbait unless that's the whole point of the series, because that makes them fucking boring. The traits men prefer in a gf are fine in real life and I assume that's what you consider 'likeable', but it makes for god awful fictional characters.

Naegi loves Sayaka and Kyoko!

Who cares if it's just fiction

none of these two characters are likable nor realistic, but somehow kirigiri got a major fanbase following by virtue of being a plot device

>Kirigiri
>unlikable
Shit taste.
>Maizono
>Unrealistic
How can you say that? Her struggles are quite real.

Kyoko's a fucking mary sue.

likable

We already had Asuka Langley, making characters as rotten and unlikable as possible is something that has been done to death.

Go back to Sup Forums my dude.

So cute, I wish I was Naegi here.

I need more shit girls to anti-waifu.

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT

the emotions you felt were real

>realistic
Fuck no, if I want to see bitches being nasty I'd go to the local bar

So Kyoko is the realistic one then? Because I'm just like Kyoko in real life.

First post best post

Junko x Naegi x Mukuro is even better

I love Junko!
