At least Shirou got a kiss...

>cute tsundere elf witch waifu who isn't tsun to you
>crazy bro with a boner for tragedy
>a group of Servants pursuing your goal out of their personal convictions for the pursuit of a better world, even after the revelation of your treachery against their masters

Amakusa had legitimitely better reasons to go on living than Sieg

This, kisses are basically third base in an anime too pure for actual sex

Is the OST coming out any time soon? I need the anime version of Quest.

I have no idea, there are bits and pieces floating around on Youtube for what that's worth

youtube.com/watch?v=eAnX0Get9IM

did you miss the astolfo S&M?

Forgot about it but to be fair, there was so little going on Astolfo wasn't even bothered by it. Smacks more of the pervy master just schlicking herself in the corner until he got bored and wandered away.

I was on board with him until his plan turned out to be instrumentality. I thought it was actually going to be something good going by Achilles' reaction.

It's not quite as bad as instrumentality, he even said that people would retain their individual selves after losing the need for corporeal form. The whole argument against it is so abstract and philosophical I would still be 100% behind it if I didn't have meta knowledge about timeline pruning from shit like Extella and now F/GO 2

And I wish with all my heart I could ignore Extella.

Here's what came out with the BD

It's missing some tracks I'm pretty sure like what played during the final fight between Sieg & Amakusa

*abstract, presumptuous and philosophical

Oh shit are subs out on your end already? Curse this total bitch of a timezone.

How would that eliminate suffering then? If people are still individual then there'd still be division, like people getting bullied.

Yup!

Has Semiramis taken cock ?

>there's no quest
Why do the elevens do this? I just want youtube.com/watch?v=0Yxq54Vlzy8 but with the extended violin and stuff, pretty sad it's not there unless it's called something else considering it played in the opening fight scene of the first episode.

I just think immortality would be an improvement from all the bad shit already happening in the Nasuverse. And the Third Magic type of immortality comes with a font of endless mana, which can fix most problems. Because holy shit is there a LOT. Fucking Outer Gods are going to break in of all things

>Local dragonslayer gives his life for a worthless puppet, ruins everything

She literally had a son. But not as a Servant no, too busy for cock.

Semiramis is the best fate girl.

Nevermind, it's the first track. Cheers user.

I want a game, an extra CCC 2+ or something like that where I can play with an assassin class as a partner. Assassin class deserves more love

All the otaku would complain about not being able to fight al the strongest servants head on like a big manly man even though Servant battles boil down to (you) cowering behind your hero of legend like in a Pokemon battle. That, or bypassing all the Servant battles because the most efficient way to use an Assassin is to just kill all the Masters before an actual fight can break out.

Assassins literally can't win without totalling the concept of a Grail War-like setup, and that's why they can't ever be relevant

There just needs to be more samurai type assassins.
>tfw no kenshin servant

Yeah but at that point you're just working with a Saber you can't powerwank into gaining the power of gods and winning a planet destroying monster's friendship so hard she gave you "her" sword simply through wishful thinking.

The Savior of France has many good attributes, but he doesn't fight like an Assassin at all.

>Metal Gear like fate game
Fund it

>fight like an Assassin
But how should an assassin fight like? FSN assassin and other samurai in general can be justified as assassin class by having expert swordsmanship for the sole purpose of killing people. They don't necessarily have to be thief/rogue types. As for big flashy super powers just give them some godly iai strike that shoots bright lights or something, solved.

She had sex with her own father.

Amakusa ideal is childish and doesn’t take into consideration the numerous things that exist to threaten the world, from the prophesized return of the Umbral Star after its last assault against Earth 14,000 years ago, the fact that souls manifested by the Third Magic are still corruptible by outside forces like Angras Mud the Goddess of Vengeance or the Chaos Tide, and the fact that such perfect worlds are always pruned by Reality itself.

There’s also the fact that Amakusa is a fallible, completely flawed human being. To the point he mistook his abilities for the power of God when he just performed magecraft without any idea he was doing it in life. Even an idiot can perform magecraft without knowing how like the blonde guy with Waver at the Clock Tower in episode 1. He can summon break the most powerful forms of magic without any idea how he did it.

The Old Men of the Mountains stand out as a good example desu. Actually weren't they supposed to be the only Assassin Servants at one point?

>hard to detect
>fast and agile as fuc boi
>NPs reflect sheer killing prowess, good at whittling people down instead of one big attack

Literally nothing wrong with incest, it promotes healthy magical eye growth and other superpowers.

So, now that I've been introduced to the Nasuverse by Apocrypha, what order should I watch the mainline series in, assuming I don't play VNs. I know there's a lot of watch orders already floating around the 'net, but I don't trust Reddit.

...

I wasn't able to protect the other smiles. Why did you think I would be able to protect that one.

>introduced to the Nasuverse by Apocrypha
This guy

>introduced to the Nasuverse by Apocrypha
>astolfo trapfag

>introduced to the Nasuverse by Apocrypha
>Reddit.
Just get the fuck out

This was the only worthy scene of the show. It's sad that they got so little attention.

>Includes Carnival Phantasm and Prisma Ilya
I don't know if this is a troll, or if whoever made this just has bad taste, but either way it doesn't help me, as I just said I don't play VNs
I heard it was "relatively self contained", so I jumped into it.
I know he's a trap, but I thought that cap would make a good reaction macro.

>dismissing carnival phantasm and prisma illya
Holy shit gas yourself stupid trapfaggot.

at least it wasn't introduced by FGO and waifufaggotry

you're wrong, introduced to the Nasuverse by FGO = MAL and Reddit.

Why do elf waifus in Fate try so hard to pretend they're evil bitches when all they really want to do is settle down and have a family?

Being introduced by trapfaggotry is a million times worse, and you can plainly see it from his posts in here right now.

>MAL and Reddit.
Fucking kill yourself

>MAL and Reddit.

But why go out of your way to avoid the VN?

Because I thought her design was good at first but then realized she had 0 time on screen and the little time there was constituted of a relationship with that one fuck that made about as much sense as the one the mc had to that prostitute.

Because otherwise people won't take them seriously and think they're rape toys. It's tough being an elf girl.

try to read the Fate threads in mal and reddit

The first is "light-hearted" and the second is a loli magical girl show, neither of which is my cup of proverbial tea.

I'm just gonna go with UFOtable's UBW, since one thing I DO remember is that the DEEN versions are trash.

The were shilling that HARD at the convention, but since I used to play mobages long before that term even existed, I knew very well to steer clear of it.
I didn't know Astolfo was a trap until Jeanne found out. Honestly I found that annoying because, as another user said, I find it hard to take traps seriously as main characters.
You're just replying to anyone who uses those words, regardless of context, aren't you?
I just don't like to play VNs. I find it boring, I can't read through as fast as I can read manga or LNs, and most of them only work on Windows.
Why would I, or anyone else here, want to inflict such torture upon themselves?

I want to touch an elf.

I don't really see how, but if VNs just don't work for you, try out other type moon stuff like Tsuki no Sango or Kara no Kyoukai. The highlights are the VNs. Most of everything else is secondary.

Assassin a cute

>mfw every time someone on the board thinks they can actually pull through an assassin class win

Assassin cant protect their masters because the operate at long range, your own positioning would have to be absolutely perfect 24/7 so no one will murder YOU while your servant is away and you have to not make a single mistake in the grail war because you both are fragile as fuck.

>That first track in the OST
Truly the "You Say Run" of Apocrypha

>summon servant in the secrecy of your basement
>spend all your time watching anime while assassin goes out doing things
?

>so no one will murder YOU while your servant is away
What is a Command Seal

You think you are gonna react faster than some heroic spirit gonna murder you boi? Hell, some Archers can just blast you and your home out of existence from kms away.

If the quality is decent, I really don't care whether it's primary or secondary, but I do want it to be of the Fate mainline series. I feel it's gotten to the point that it's "something I should watch" like Eva, Madoka, and Haruhi. But from what I've seen so far, I do genuinely enjoy it.

I forgot, why did Sieg turn into a dragon?

>grail war
>destroying houses and buildings with loud flashy attacks

Fate anime isn't really all that important in comparison to something like Eva. There's frequent threads yeah, but if you're not gonna read the VN it's not really worth getting into. All you'll really have is ufotable UBW and Zero.
Aside from that, there really isn't all that much material. There's like two games and three light novels that aren't from the original author

I admit a secondary, but as flawed as this was I enjoyed it. Almost all the female characters and a couple of the male servants were likeable and Jeanne is very cute.

*I admit I am

Can someone explain me one thing. At the end of ep21 Caules and Fiore watching Chiron death from a plane. At the beginning of the ep22 Caules already hiding from Lancer with fires around. What the fuck hapoened in between?

He ask the GG to fasten the process of his dragonshifting. Then He flew to the RSotW with the GG as the world rejects his existence.

Did he also do something to let Rider remain in the world or is rider still receiving mana from him or something?

Can someone explain how Sieg getting struck by Fran's lightning somehow permanently gave him her full power unlike Siegfried giving his heart yet his strength can only be called on via command seals for 5 minutes per pop?

Magic

>Amakusa's ideal is childish and doesn’t take into consideration numerous things that he has no way of knowing about

hacks

...

Because the command seals were linked to the Servant core aka heart. Since Fran only tranferred energy to Sieg and not a physcial part of herself no command seals were obtained either.

Are there any other good sub groups besides UTW? I don't like how liberal they are with their "localizations", if you can even call it that.

APEX, their subs are better than UTW's by far

>I dedicate it to you with great respect

Siegfried is the dragon-slayer who became immortal by bathing in dragon’s blood, and Sieg get his heart, currently Siegfried’s blood flows in the veins of Sieg. Sieg is immortal Siegfried.
After gaining Saber of Black’s heart, his appearance physically changes and he gains a stronger constitution which leads Rider of Black to claim he can live for more than 100 years. However, while Siegfried’s body could withstand the dragon blood within it, Sieg’s body can’t. That is reason that the spots on Sieg’s hand where the Command Spells disappeared from turned black and his body gets dark spots like those of a Dragon every time he uses the Siegfried’s transformation ability. After use all of their Command Spells
Sieg managed to barely maintain his human form thanks to the power Sieg obtained from Frankenstein’s “Blasted Tree: Lightning Branch of Crucifixion” .
The lightning carries her will as written in Frankenstein’s notes and explained in the LN. Sieg activated the Siegfried’s transformation skill and received the Galvanism at once due to the lightning, so it isn’t surprising that he could eventually manifest Blasted Tree as he was already using Galvanism on order to spam Balmung during his battle against Karna.
Blasted Tree has the power to make another Frankenstein monster, so it happened. Also this triggered Siegfried’s transformation skill. Blasted Tree has this ability inscribed into it. That lightning is basically Fran’s will, and she wished to remain in this world so that Sieg could avenge her of the terriblethings that Shirou and Shakespeare made the her during her battle against them. Also, by jumpstarting the Siegfried’s transformation skill, Sieg could regenerate much faster, just like Siegfried.

They didn't do every episode though? At least it seems like they're missing some on nyaa.

Its based on the concept of homonculi acting as conduits. If Illya can act as a conduit for a holy grail due to her heart, then Sieg can act as a conduit for Siegfried by having his literal heart. Because Siegfried is now a heroic spirit, Sieg gets quasi command spells which enforce his will over Siegfried’s manifested form. However, Sieg is just a mass produced homonculi unlike super special Illya; so his projection capacity is limited to a short timer before his body gives out.

This also operates along the same premise of Shirou containing Avalon within him. Just as Shirou can tap into Avalon, Sieg can tap into Siegfried’s noble phantasm. Nobody is really aware of this in the setting because none of the characters are familiar with the specifics of the latest Fuyuki Holy Grail War.

I get the Siegfried stuff, just not why he got Frankenstein's full power from a lightning shot.

Fran has a power called Galvanism that lets her draw energy from her surroundings and convert it to mana. Her NP has a chance of spawning another Frankenstein after use.
In the simplest way to put it her NP gave her powers to Sieg as a way of sort of recreating herself. It's easier to just accept Fran's entire existence was to have a plot reason to make Sieg strong enough to win against Amakusa.

You say that, but Saber was about to fire Excalibur inside Shirou's house in a residential area against some skeletons. Just imagine how little other servants care in comparison or if insane ones like Gilles get summoned.

Why did Shirou wait until team black came to invade to use the grail instead of shortly after it was successfully stolen?

Their contract still remains despite Sieg in RSoTW

...

>kotomine shirou
>It's not a Shirou adopted by Kirei
I got memed on.

So Jannu who had no feelings for a guy suddenly can't stop thinking of Sieg? Laeticia starts saying its her fault she is feeling this way. Later Laeticia admits she only admired him. Jannu confesses her love to Sieg randomly in the mild of space. All their interactions felt forced as fuck.

The only reason I can think of is that Shakespeare needed more time to write shit so that things would work out the way Shirou wanted them to. Probably just a plot convenience/hole

Fate/Zero -> Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Bladeworks (TV) + prologue -> Heaven's Feel movies (when they're available).

Apocrypha is an alternate/parallel universe to FSN. Divergence starts before Fate/Zero I believe.

Why was Shakespeare so useless? Karna hyped him up vs Jeanne but he didn't do anything new or significant. If you had him in a normal battle royale grail war you would just tell him to kill himself and drop out.

This. Imagine the possibilities

>Karna in residential area

I had a dream that I would post this on Sup Forums on a Fate thread, and because it is the new year - fuck it:

m.youtube.com/watch?v=L8wHteSOwW4

Extella was great.

Philosopher servents when? Now that we have Shakespeare, I would love to see a battle of ‘feels vs reals’ between Mark, Kant and Nietzsche. What would Schopenhauer's noble phantasm be? suicide?

Based thanks

Memes aside Shakespeare was pretty fucking effective in show actually. He hold off berserker forcing a command seal to be used and he almost removed a fucking Ruler from the game.

Don't worry, (You) will protect it in FGO.

He would be effective if the grail wars were a team game instead of "1 winner only at the end". Otherwise he's pure support and would never win a war.
