What are everyone's opinions on the ending? Personally I'm happy that his smile was protected.

It felt really abrupt, but it fit the series.

there's surprisingly little to say. It's a great series, but the arcs were so insulated from each other that the end result is not all that important.

I thought the ending was pretty good

Nothing's left in the archive, and I figured something as good as MP100 could use more love.

The end result itself was mob's transformation from an introvert with no confidence into someone comfortable with who he is.

It was great seeing Mob expressing emotions normally but I dunno, the ending to Makai no Ossan got to me more

sure, but since the buildup was so unrelated to the content of the arcs, i didn't bother remembering that i'd been reading it for years, which softened the blow a good amount.

I would like to see One try a bit of a more straight-forward style at some point. Subverting common elements you find in shounen manga by application of common sense and straightforward thinking can be pretty fun, but you get used to it after a while.

I'm sad it didn't end in 100 chapters. It ended in 101

I though it was a satisfying ending. Some things like what happened to the city and the way authorities acted were mentioned as possible problems that mob would have to face with but they were resolved with time skip. Also not happy with Dimples return.
Everything else I loved. Such nice and cozy series.

It didn't really end on chapter 101, I think we almost got to 200 if he numbered them normally.

I've always thought of that as a funny thing.
I mean, there's a bunch of stuff you could cut from the manga to make it into 101 chapters, probably.
