Good girl in a decent arc what could have been a nice spiritual successor to Amagami if it literally wasn't for the last few minutes of Tsuneki's arc.

Amagami also had the fatty's arc which was dumb. People got to stop letting one arc ruin the whole thing for them. There are multiple arcs for a reason.

Amagami also had more arcs to spread stuff out, and to be fair the omnibus format hadn't been really done before so the expectations were different at the time. If you take out Rihoko's arc ending on a frustrating note, you still had 5 arcs that ended pretty damn well all things considering, and her arc was also near the tail end of the show so you had people who were pretty damn invested into it at the time so I don't think there was that much of a drop off from it at the time considering Tsukasa's arc was that last one.
Now if Tsuneki got the last arc instead of Kyouko, I think she'd still get the same reaction, but at that point people who had watched Tooru's arc and Kyouko's arc would have been invested enough just to see how it would end, and the chances for a S2 with the other girls wouldn't be completely zero, which is a damn shame because I was kind of looking forward to see how they'd handle Ruisu and Risa's cowtit imouto.
