Sorry but no. The Shiro fight from HnK was improved upon from the manga and highly memorable and talked about. The Ozen fight was butchered and lacked any impact whatsoever. Those are the only big fights in the season.

Technically he isn't wrong, there's a lot of stuff that's basically magic. MiA is pretty magic too but there's not really enough information to make a judgement on how the whole thing works yet.
The first cour was funny enough, but at some point it overstayed its welcome and the second cour was a chore to watch.
I don't think the story needs to be hard sci-fi. There are things that don't make sense realistically, but the point of the story isn't about the future.
The only thing that barely counts as magic in MiA are the relics.

what the fuck is going on? The anime explained nothing. Not what the lunarians where, why they're kidnapping gems, what the gems were, what happened to humans, literally nothing. Part of a plot begins to appear with sensei hiding shit and BAM it fucking ends. blueballs: the anime. All buildup for no payoff.
Its based on an ongoing manga where some of those things are explained poorly.
I love them all but i feel MiA start is a bit slow and the anime didnt get to the best parts of the manga

I'm a bit sad that we didn't just get Bondrewd's arc, but that's fine since we got all the other stuff that was awesome. Bondrewd OVA/S2 when?

I knew nothing about the series, so I went in blind and enjoyed it. NuPhos wasn't as good as genki dumbass Phos though. Beautiful visuals and music, and surprisingly good animation. The gems were all unique and likeable, Sensei is objectively the best dad of 2017 (Sorry Bondrewd, you didn't get your time to shine), and the Lunarian fights were absolutely spectacular.

Looked promising from the teaser images (2D), then saw it was low budget 3D. Stuck around for the 3 episode rule, and every episode just got better. Something about it was just relaxing to watch. Definitely most hype ending of the three; you just don't expect that sort of thing from this sort of show. Hell, you don't expect ANYTHING since it was essentially fresh work using the content of a dead mobile game as the director pleased, and he did damn good.

Reminder Serval & Kaban were originally supposed to helplessly watch Aardwolf being slowly devoured by the Big Cerulean towards the end of Episode 1. That's why Serval looks frustrated after killing the Cerulean.
