what does Sup Forums think of Vegeta as a character?

manlet

Majin Vegeta was his peak as a character.

Washed up rival, needs to be replaced.

>Needs to be buffed because MC can't have a real rival
>Needs to be mind controlled because supporting cast jobber can't really be willfully evil

Gay

His wildcard shenanigans made Namek Arc the most interesting part of Dragon Ball.

...

I still love him but I wish they'd give him back his edge.

He's my favourite but he should have died on Namek.

The fact that Goku was stronger than Vegeta when he arrived on Namek and even as strong as third form Frieza is so retarded I don't even know where to begin.

Better question:
What does Sup Forums think of Vegeta as a spice?

Goku had just been training his ass off on a planet with 10 times earth gravity for ages, with a kai as his teacher. I'd say he's justified in getting a power boost.

I think he's a fantastic character. Really showcases Toriyama unique style, and has a distinct personality.

Going from enemy to ally wasn't new because piccolo did it, but pic had to transform for it to happen, be reborn or whatever, wasn't in his original form from what I remember.

Vegeta never really turned soft, at least on the exterior, which, would be an amazing moment if he did have a scene like that, where he dropped all pride etc. but the fact that he never does, even when he's doing something sacrificial, he hides it behind a mask of pride, sort of keeps his character solid etc.

He's definitely a really good character, I think. I wouldn't like him in real life, I don't think, but as a character in fiction, unique, and serves his purpose well, he has my thumbs up.

Gets old seeing Goku wreck him every time.

I think they need to do something with him. Goku is cool and all, but honestly I can't imagine a better outcome than Vegeta getting some spotlight in this arc. Honestly he's earned it.

Currently a little worn-out due to his development not being able to advance due to his 'good nature'. Hopefully something can come from this planet Salad stuff.

Back in the day though, easily the most complex and compelling character in DBZ, and undoubtedly what made DBZ so iconic.

He went soft when he started fucking Bulma. Now he's a soft manlet who trains 24/7/365 just to get 1% above Goku and then rage when he effortlessly surpasses him. That is literally his character, he's just tsundere for goku

the Prince of all manlets/jobbers

Vegeta was only cool when he first appeared, ever since he has been the #1 jobber. His only two roles are either clening up the small fry or getting beat up the real boss to establish how powerful said boss is.
On top of that he never lost or evolved past his "I'm the pround prince of the saiyans!" which makes his getting beat up borderline comical.

doing nothing to revive the saiyan race .

Worthless past Namek
