A bunch of enemies, no doubt. Rival Masters. But I don't really see the point of rival Masters when the protagonist has literally a hundred Servants. With Servants like Cu Chulainn, Emiya, Medusa, Gilgamesh, Tamamo-no-Mae, Heracles, Jeanne, Iskandar, Old Man of the Mountain, Merlin, etc., etc. on his/her side, how the fuck is anyone supposed to fight them? The protagonist is literally the most powerful Master in history.

Well, in-story the villains took over Chaldea, shut down the summoning system, massacred the support staff, nearly killed Da Vinci, and forced you into exile.

Of course the game isn't just going to literally take everything away from players 3 years in, so Holmes and Da Vinci backed everything up, so yeah...

I thought it was more like storywise, the servants that originate from the lostbelts aren't going to help the protagonist since their goal is basically to destroy their world.

I doubt they'd introduce a bunch of new Servants and not make them summonable. Odds are at worst they'll just be locked behind completing stages of the story.

Nope. Merlin's Clairvoyance is different from Solomon's or Gilgamesh's. He can't see the future; what he sees is the "present". Well, he can form prophecies, but those are a little broad.

Nasu only wanted Merlin to be strong. Him breaking the game is actually the actual game devs' fault. They tried to make him strong, but they didn't realize that he'd completely destroy the game balance until it was too late.

Yeah, but I wonder what story excuse they'll give for the protagonist being able to handle that many Servants without Chaldea. Up until now, the protagonist was just a relay point and anchor. They were basically a conduit that fed Chaldea's near-limitless energy to the Servants. But without Chaldea, they're just a single Master. No matter how much compatibility they have as a Master, there's no way one human can supply magical energy to so many Servants at once. even if it's just six at a time, that's still impossible. Even Rin felt drained the night she summoned Archer, and that was with support from the Holy Grail.

Pretty much every single harem anime is extremely bad with a terrible self insert protagonist, and in this case is even worse, because the protagonist is literally a beta faggot that can't fight or defend himself alone and requires the help a lot of character to save his fat ass. There isn't a single good harem anime.

you can't summon shit in lostbelts since is a pruned world. sure you have your servants saint graph saved but they'll be nerfed since nobody gives you prana, without merlin ex machina around and no resources. likely limited numbers of summon.

They already tested "nerfed" half hp party in Salem and strict "can only use these Servants" in Shimosa and CCC event. They WILL do this gimmick for story chapters (not events, duh). They warned to start raising all your Servants. Likely each lost belt will have a number of servants you can summon and use.

Certain areas will restrict class/amount of servants you can have at once? It sounds like a fun gimmick and the game hasn't been very difficult outside of a few pockets.

Most likely most if not all 1-3* Servants will be usable, but not all the *5s. Granblue does this too, you know, there are chapters you can't use certain units (like the Black Knight or Vira) because they weren't introduced to the story yet.

They could also lock you to story supports only like they did for the prologue. That's only for the story, doesn't affect the events or the farming shit.

Beast is exclusively a NPC class (look at their icon, not even the same color as usual classes) because they are the bosses of FGO. Kiara is only summonable out the class as Alter Ego. Goetia can be Caster too, so there's that.

Harem and Isekai are the worst genres that come to mind. Harems used to be good like Tenchi that had a good storyline and memorable girls but now you have shit that is only made to sell manga and doujin and whatever. Isekai is simply Otaku pandering that either features overpowered MC's or faggots like Gudao and the storylines are always mediocre.

Such a shame. Why is it that it feels like the last time the Church or Mage Association was competent was back in Tsukihime and Melty Blood. Back then, we had characters like Lorelei to tear things up. Nowadays, it seems like the Mage Association are a bunch of Keyneths who can't find their asses without an elaborate magical ritual.
