Isaac Thompson
Missing a lot of things though. How in the hell do you have nothing at all from City Hunter for instance? Ai yo Kienaide, Get Wild, Angel Night and Sara all should be on there.
Also if you're going with a Gundam X song then Dreams over Resolution or Human Touch is pretty dumb.
No You Get To Burning, Galient World, Tobe! Gundam, etc. Total joke.
Ethan Price
>BEYOND THE TIME nowhere to be seen >Moon's Cocoon nowhere to be seen >Tabi no Tochuu nowhere to be seen What the fuck japs

And now I realized that Ru-Ru-Ru-Russian Roulette or anything from Bubblegum Crisis isn't on there. This list becomes a bigger and bigger failure every time I look at it. Leave it up to Japs to have shit taste.
I'll retract the Nadesico complaint though.
Nathan Allen
Title should be "most popular".

No shit, but there's some not as popular series in the top 10 like Negima and Ryvius
Noah Green
>30. Forフルーツバスケット (”For Fruits Basket”) by 岡崎律子 (Okazaki Ritsuko) Never thought it will be in this list
Jack Robinson
What the fuck is Japan's obsession with Happy Material? Negima has been nothing short of brutalized and abused in terms of adaptation and yet they love the shit out of this song.
Benjamin Mitchell
You underestimate how fucking popular Fruit Basket was
Lucas Foster
>no Lum anywhere That's really surprising. Same with nothing from Kimagure Orange Road.
Jace Powell
Nips have good taste.
Connor Torres
I keep forgetting how much it looks like s-CRY-ed. Director did those two series back to back didn't he?
Camden Foster
This list is 10 years old. I guarantee you a modern list would be grotesque.
Thomas Rivera
Yes, he did. Content-wise, they don't have much in common, though.
Ian Miller
Damn he figured it out, I was waiting till there were more posts before the big reveal. Troll attempt: Half-success
Lucas Fisher
So how will Sup Forums list looks like then
Carter White
>rahxephon twice oh i take it back. the japanese truly have impeccable taste.
Brayden Evans
If someone want to make it make sure one person can pick at least 3 songs. I have several favorites so it's hard to choose only one.
Alexander Ramirez
Happy Material has an interesting story with the Japanese music industry >originally released in singles every 3 weeks, each single sang by different members of the cast >the second single managed to get into Oricon's Top 25 Best Selling list one week, in 20th place or something around there >one butthurt artist that got a lower place complained in an interview, saying that no name seiyuu shouldn't be able to compete with professional singers that have dedicated years to get there >2ch and the otaku community decided to get back at him, the following week the next Happy Material single got to 5th place in the list, and all the following singles also got in the top 10 The artist had to apologize but by that time the executives realized the potential of anime music, not even 1 year later Nana Mizuki reached the 1st place in the list with Nanoha's opening, becoming the first VA to get it. That's also why Innocent Starter is in this list.
Brayden Bailey
>Rise, GiTS >Inner Universe, GiTS >Just Communication, Wing >Revolution, Utena >Wind Climbing, Guru Guru >Heart of Sword, Rurouni Kenshin ED3 >Butterfly, Digimon >Duvet, Serial Experiment Lain >A Cruel Angel’s Thesis, NGE I take it back. It's a nice list.
Asher Carter
That is an interesting story.
Nicholas Harris
Well, I didn't figure it out so much as remember it. They put out a Top 300 the next year which gives an expanded glimpse of what their tastes were like then. Here it is:
Huh... Wondered why it was so heavily dominated by Haruhi songs.
Gives me an idea though. Let's fix the list. Everybody name one song you'd take off this list(either because you hate it or because you feel it doesn't deserve to be there) and what song you'd replace it with.
Remove:Cha La Head Cha La - Dragonball I know I'm going to catch hell for this, but I was never a fan of that song. No mater how popular or how iconic, it always felt underwhelming.
Add: SAA - Mamotte Shugogetten A favorite opening of mine for decades, this song is just an infectiously jazzy, fun number.
Jackson Walker
>no blue moment Shit list.
Jaxson Johnson
>both SAC OP's featured >no Spice & Wolf shaking my head to be honest fampai
Christopher Howard
>Huh... Wondered why it was so heavily dominated by Haruhi songs. As though those Haruhi songs wouldn't be on a list made now too.
Dylan Hill
After all the scandals and the fact that the series as a whole has been on hiatus since 2011 I'm sure it's not as popular as it was and K-on OPs are probably ahead
Lucas Johnson
>no Colors, Kimi no shira nai monogatari, Magia, don't say lazy or Groovin Magic Its not a very good list
Josiah Nguyen
>Dunbine >Heats >Yume Iro Chaser Finally some good fucking taste
Adrian Anderson
What do you think of my favorite OPs, Sup Forums? This list hasn't been updated in a year, though.
Cameron Hughes
Someone remembers Solty Rei for something, now there's a surprise. It's not a bad OP though.
Carson Morales
Gotta say, wasn't expecting much but I went through it and it's pretty stellar, a good amount of things I did not expect to see someone else on Sup Forums have.
Only big favorites of mine that aren't on here are Shounen Yo Ware Ni Kaere (Penguindrum) Blue Water (Nadia)
Luis Adams
DAN DAN KOKORO HIKARETEKU Japanese has okay taste by me
Brandon Kelly
឴឴>18. “Shooting Star” by Kotoko, opening song of おねがいティーチャー (Onegai Tīchā, known as Please Teacher!) This takes me back.

Jordan Ross
>8. “Innocent Starter” by 水樹 奈々 (Mizuki Nana), opening song of 魔法少女リリカルなのは (Mahō Shōjo Ririkaru Nanoha, known as Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) The fucking best opening. Sad i couldn't find the .flac of this piece of art.
