This. Manga is a visual medium just as much (if not more) as it is literary. Things like Togashi's wall of text is completely missing the point of the medium. You can tell a story in manga format with just art alone, but the opposite is impossible. I sure can't wait for the moment where they land on the actual dark continent so Togashi can babble endless descriptions about the creatures and civilizations instead of us actually seeing them. It's only going to take another twenty years or so.

First page is legit visually conveying information with the amount of text, it's not there for no reason. It's to show how paranoid Welfin is, and how fast his brain is going.

The rest is info dumps so the reader isn't completely lost during complex arcs and strategies. Necessary evil with how much detail goes into the story, the text always decreases once they get to the action.

Jojo has some of the most unique, engaging battles I've seen in any series based around punching people in the face and it's very visual

Medaka Box uses the fact that there is a shitload of text to convey things. It will actually make sense if you read the text walls, but you don't have to. The important thing is that Ashinin has a lot of skills, or a character is babbling.
