This kills discussion?

Welcome to the future

Devilman Crybaby is an anime people will still be discussing ten years from now.

Netflix is as Netflix does, that's the future.

Just like Re:Life ^: )

This is the worst timeline

100%. By next week no one will really care. I like watching in batches a lot, but if there is no previous weekly release it just fucks things up.

Will we ever get a proper adaptation? I mean I love Yuasa, but this has been his weakest work by far. The entire thing felt rushed, and there were so many unnecessary changes.

where does that fit into the Re: series alongside Re:Zero and Re:Creators?

Re:Re: is the OP as far as I know

I missed these jokes
Re:Life is a prequel to Subaru's parents before he gets hit by the truck and Re:zero starts. Re:Creators is a what-if spin off where if instead of a kid that got hit by a bus the parents had a different hiki child who helped bully girls to death on the internet.
Re:code is the sequel to Re:zero so don't watch it until you finish Re:zero

Is Re life over yet?
I will only read it when they get together

Will the same thing happen to VEG? God I hope so.

They kinda did, they confessed to one another at least, but I'm not actually sure if they're properly dating. They're gonna be adults any minute now.

Violet is getting simulcasted, one episode a week. Tough luck

Devilchad

I'd be surprised if we're still talking about this in ten weeks

But seriously, what does the Re: mean? Lot of unrelated works have the same naming scheme.

its gonna end in 2 months

Netflix kills itself

Gonna fap to this

That's great though. You can discuss one episode at time.
With this batch shit, if you don't sit through all episodes at once you can't start talking about the anime because someone will eventually spoil it for you.

Hmmm... eh, response...?

Re:zero comes before Re:Life, but it's a prequel and should only be watched after Re:Life, UNLESS you already watched Fate/zero.

watching porn like a boss, right in his school conference room with speakers fully on

lmgtfy.com/?q=What does the Re: mean in japan titles

Even having just binged all 10 episodes, it's hard to actually get a discussion going with multiple threads going ~700 posts within an hour and having 3 threads up.

So no discussion can happen about any anime that is already fully released? Is that what i am to understand user?
>anons face

>No one will be talking about Devilman 3 days from now
Wtf I love Netflix now

It can if it's something like NGE, TG, LOGH, SSY or idk some other shit like that.
What the fuck can you discuss about something like devil man? just see how lively is this thread.

There are at least 2 other threads retardanon.

Go make a Psycho Pass thread

I belive the Netflix model could be harmfull in the long run. while we still talk about show from the past the fact that it came and went in a single night means that the discussion is not going to last as long as if it was relased weekly. By next week everyone will be talking about the last episode of Fate or some new movie, and DM would fade into obscurity.

Think about it. most things you enjoyed back when you where young where part of your routine. DBZ, Digimon, Sailor Moon, they where part of the conversation for week or months. now everyone Binge watches it, stay in the conversation a couple of days and gets replace by the next week by the hot new thing.

And not very lively either.
Also just 3 threads right now? Do you really think that there is gonna be discusion in 1 week?
Just see Bojack for example, very popular cartoon with legit good drama and character problems that after 1-2 weeks people stops talking until the next season because the entire season is released at once and there is nothing to say.

It literally happens with almost every netflix series, after one week people stop talking about them.
These anons above are denying facts.

If an anime is good people will talk about it.
There is a lot of shit that gets talked about week to week and will only be talked about because its being released weekly, but once its over it will disappear. I think Devilman Crybaby is different because its actually good with a good director. Also it came out and midnight, unless you have hardcore autism like me and didn't watch it in one night its gonna take at least the weekend for people to see it.

Get over your nostalgia faggot. Back in "muh day" most anime was rented from specialty stores and the actual good stuff was available all at once. No fucking US fag watched eva week to week unless they waited like a pleb for it.

Happened to ReLife, if you are too new to know.
It's not that you can't, its more that people won't be as interested.

I think this thread shows that Sup Forums cares more about how many casual fags wanna talk about shit than actual good discussion.

by next week there will only be bait threads. discussion is over.

welcome to the netflix future.

>I think Devilman Crybaby is different because its actually good with a good director.
Go to Sup Forums and see if there is any Bojack thread or to Sup Forums and see if people are still talking about stranger things, the most popular show in netflix right now.

Given the current political climate, we will never stop discussing it

Im not attacking the quality of the show, Im just pointing out that the Bingewatch model may hurt the lasting impact on a show in the long run.

Of couse we still donĀ“t know that but is a posibility. For every good show that everyone remembers there are five equally good show that are barely talk about. Quality is not the only factor for a show to have lasting effect, repetition is too.
