>the humans whose name is written in this shall die
Can any human character in any manga/anime survive the death note?
The humans whose name is written in this shall die
A human who has no name?
Any character that is over 124 years old.
Any character that isn't human.
A dastardly fellow who is such levels of Misanthropy he can now longer be classified as human.
>Can any human character
kenny from south park
Maybe the ones who wished for immortality. Also Ones who ascended to deity level may surpass the power of the Deathnote.
South park is my favourite anime
Enel can start his heart up again.
Light would have trouble finding out his real identity
Brook, right? He's still...human, even if he's dead.
...
Don't know much about Saint Seiya, but shouldn't 8th sense users be immune to insta-death shit?
Pretty sure that "santa" alone doesn't count as name.
...
Dazai Osamu from Bungou Stray Dogs
Anyone who is immortal.
Anyone who already has some sort of destiny and/or is already fated to die on a certain moment.
Probably more cases in which they will survive.
I don't count the people who can easily be revived from death because that technically isn't surviving.
does a death god negate the "immortality" of somebodies personal immortality granter?
It depends if the source of immortaly is more powerful than whatever powers the deathnotes
It seens Death Note is linked with fate. A death note ties with the number the owner can see above the heads. The only way to change it is by making the deal of halving the life spam.
>Can any human character in any manga/anime survive the death note?
Unless you specifically write down decapitation as the cause of death, but even then I am not sure if any decapitation will do, or if it has to be done by another immortal.
Characters from Medaka Box because they’re THAT bullshit
Well, everyone eventually dies and will be forgotten. Same applies to human kind as a whole. Even the fucking universe will probably eventually "die".
The point of the Death Note was making the death happen earlier, not that it happens at all.
I guess that depends on what sort of rules govern life and death.
I can see it happening that by being immortal you're "absolved" of life and thus no longer qualify as living.
Fujiwara no Mokou
Oh yeah
Read the rules faggot
Archer, Kyon, Poorfag from Madoka. There.
He still has a digestive tract somehow despite only being bones. Would that imply his other body systems (ie circulatory system) still exist in some way?
Brook died once, that is what his fruit did, it brought him BACK to life..but i guess not as a human, as a corpse
Would the death note still work if the person had an artificial heart?
I thought this would be a way L could comeback story wise, and it would be a bit of a gamble.
I bet there's a circle in limbo where death gods test out different death notes, with different definitions of "human" and "name".
the real meaning is "heart failure" not "heart attack" so I think so, heart failure is more all-encompassing without being too indicative and manipulatiable
>dad and grandfather have the same name as me
>entire male side of the family dies when only one name is written
Shit seriously needs a patch
>He doesn't know how the Death Note work
Daily reminder that the live-action japanese movie had the best ending
>me and my identical set of triplets have the exact same name
To be fair, if you did know his dad and granddad and try to kill him, you have to write down his name while actively NOT thinking about his dad/granddad's faces as well.
How can the Death Note always be fatal if rubber erasers and defibrillators are a thing.
>rubber erasers
It can't just be any eraser. It has to be a magic Death Eraser. It's canon, look it up.
