Fate/Zero was really good for the most part, but could have been alot better

1) Take the GW seriously as much as possible for the development of plotpoints. Don't just let corny things happen for the sake of convenience.
2) Get rid of Team Caster entirely.
3) More Lancelot backstory.
4) More character development in general.
5) Make Iskandar's design less cartoony.
6) Make Kayneth's character less cartoony.

Those were great scenes. Super interesting and beautifully shot. Not everything needs to be drama

Kirei is repeteadly said to be known for being a long, long talker. In HF he shown talking and drinking with Gilgamesh a lot of times.

Well I know the anime can't have that type of airtime, but there should be more explaining how we get an obedient to his dad and peers priest to the Antagonist.

A sort of punished anti-antagonist, by the series logic his insistance on having the Full Grail leak is the same as Einzberns, Matou, Toshakas.

Somehow I doubt reading it first would have made it any less shitty. It was a story written for young teenagers, and it really feels like it. It's challenging to take it seriously when every convoluted plot development has transparently been concocted on the spot from Nasu's anus for little more than furthering the typical self-insert fantasies of juveniles, despite the translucently thin pretense otherwise. Zero isn't a masterpiece, but at least it's entertaining. It took me two years to drag myself through the awful VN. It's shit.

Thanks for the chuckle. Zero is the ultimate made-for-edgy-teens story. You can't possibly think that FSN is for children but not Zero. It likely took you so long to read the VN because you're an illiterate teenager.
