I've had it downloaded for years now wanting to watch it since it inspired PriPara, but I've never gotten around to it.

Minky Momo was better.

subs never ;_;

For plebs like you, sure.

>magical girls from earlier than the 90s
Ew.

I liked Mahou no Rouge Lipstick alright.

Fuck off

...

Are you sure?

The best magical girls are the ones with heavy firepower

Tutu is pretty good

Minky Momo > Magical Emi >Fancy LaLa > Creamy Mami

I watched it a while ago and almost forgot everything about the story but I'll always remember the final concert and the great music.

her character design is one of the most beautiful ever

Minky Boodle.

Forgetting Majokko Megu

Yuu-chan is cuter

Mami is cuter but Yuu is sexier.

aniDB says no progress in eight years. Pretty sure the groups are dead too

The data on anidb is flawed.
The progressed stopped in 2005.

My favorite mahou shoujo with princess tutu.

Jingoru best boy.

...

I prefer Emi.

There are tons of 80s mahou shoujo that aren't subbed. Just watch them anyway, they're super easy to understand because they're for kids. A good way to learn some moon if you ask me.

After watching Ikusei Keikaku, Swim Swim was my favourite character, but after reading the LNs, Magical Girl Batman became my favourite.

Problem with unsubbed shows is that they tend to be harder to get than subbed shows.

I haven't come across many that are completely dead. You might have to let it sit for a week but you'll get it eventually.

I remember there was a chart for mahou shoujo shows that list every (or at least most) mahou shoujo over the time and categorized them as revolutionary, classic, normal, idol themed and stuff like that. Anyone care to share it?

>Creamy Mami OVAs subs NEVER
>Sweet Mint subs NEVER
>Pastel Yumi and Magical Emi getting finished in less than a year fucking never but at least they MIGHT get finished
>Mahou no Mako-chan subs NEVER
>Miracle Shoujo Limit-chan subs NEVER
>Ribbon no Kishi subs NEVER
>Mahou Shoujo Lalabel subs NEVER

Learning Japanese only takes about 2 years if you do it right, user.

I remember it but I'm not going share that mass of concentrated autism.

>Learning Japanese only takes about 2 years
w

Id cream in her mami

>The best magical girls are the ones genderbent from boys
Fixed

Should I watch Minky Momo or Lunlun next?

Does Lunlun have subs? I know it's listed with subs from Diclonius but I can never find them anywhere.

Is subbed in spanish since the 80s

one of my first waifu.

I dropped it after 15 seconds. I can't stand for those disgusting sexist attitudes "us girls am I rite stupid boys". I hate this disgusting femininity.

My plans to watch it weren't that serious in the first place, but I didn't expect to drop it in the first line of the OP

That's pathetic.

Are you sure you wanted to watch Mahou Shoujo in the first place?

Here's your dose of autism

>Not watching the better pair of pink haired protagonists who have the same name and appearance for no particular reason.

Minky Momo is better than nearly all mahou shoujo shows, it's not a fair comparison. I'm still only halfway through Umi Momo, haven't gotten to the famous episode where she visits an anime studio.

Add Sally to the list, some of the best episodes are unsubbed.

This is what peak human performance looks like.

I watched that recently.
What a ride.

Youkoso Youko is also great. I'm only four episodes in but it's unique with a cool mysterious, almost dreamlike atmosphere. I especially like how she's refrained from doing anything explicitly magical other than having a mascot and managing to shittalk a bunch of gang members and miraculously avoid injury, with them beating themselves up somehow.

It's bizarre that the flat out best genre of anime is barely noticed, let alone watched by western nerds who eat up modern moe.

I actually know some Nip, so I can watch this shit, but I don't get how the whole genre as it existed before the mid 90's has just flown under the radar despite having so many actually totally watchable series.

Fans of "modern moe" are part of hype culture. They watch shows almost exclusively based on the expected quality of the porn, cosplay or online discussion. For that to happen w/ an older show for little girls, it takes a dedicated artist or very rich patron.

I don't think a large portion of the audience for Western audience for yonkoma watches airing shows for little girls either, even though some of them have great porn
