It has given us some great battles, good animation, a clear progress path for our heroes, return on old z characters.
Sure there are some faults, like some universes being complete fodder and U7 being way too OP, but overall I feel like this arc is interesting.
Hopefully some of the new characters like Katopesla, The pride troopers, the robots, U6 etc get some more screen time in the future.

The Namek saga is such a strange yet fun saga. It almost seems feels like a military coup of sorts with all sorts of wild cards and trump cards. Toriyama was certainly getting very creative there.

It has Krillin and Gohan trying to outsmart Vegeta and Frieza's men who were both way stronger then them. Vegeta himself was an underdog and had to be strategic to not directly fight Frieza and when the Ginyu force came having them forced to team up was interesting. It really was the last arc I can remember where the focus WAS getting the dragon balls and attempting to play keep away with them. Now getting the balls is easy and they literally used as a consequence free Deus Ex Machina.
