It's actually even worse in the manga. In the OVA they retcon over half the studio staff out (incidentally including the one who pervs on Kanna's age the hardest) to get the onii-chan arc done in one episode. In the manga it it takes 7 chapters before even the first mention of glassesfag is made, and the believable premise of Kanna being an exceptional circumstance due to her family connection goes right out the window because suddenly her classmate was in the industry all along.

It's basically the exact moment the series goes from a taboo fantasy with emphasis on fetishizing Kanna's age, to generic pandering school-setting ecchi garbage. Since when do fucking eroge use male voice actors anyway? Scriptwriter actually made sense as a character and partner and it's blatantly obvious that the editor or someone else pussied out once the manga was clearly going to stick around.

I guarantee you this clusterfuck right at the beginning is why this is an obscure series with 2 OVAs and not a successful ecchi with an anime adaptation as well.
