Dragon Ball Super

Waiting for CHADhan manga leaks, bracing for the impact this episode, kinda scared that GODhan might be eliminated. Praying to EGP that he doesn't get knocked out

BTFO

...

You already prepared a screencap?

Any reason why you hate Gohan so much?

Bullshit. Sauce?

Shit character, fucks up in the most important situations while being handed power to overcome them without any effort on his end.
Made it myself for this weekend.

>people are still blaming Gohan for 17's failed plan

Did everyone fail to see that Toppo fucked 17's arm so hard he dropped the barrier?

If Gohan kept doing his attack 17 would've gotten eliminated and Toppo would've dodged. He literally did the right thing

>fucks up in the most important situations
Just like pretty much every other character in DBZ? do you want me to list them?

And the only power up that was handed to him was the Elder Kai unlock and the Guru unlock and he jobbed with them so it wasn't even important

Gohan is the character that has had it the worst with his fuck ups. Due to his fuck ups , he is no longer the main character.

JOBHAN can suck a fat chode. He will never win >:^(

They were still in crucial scenarios and he messed up with them, like always. Elder Kai unlock and Guru unlock were 2 out of 4 of his powerups. Literally half of his powerups were handed to him- and he still jobbed with them.
Other characters have fucked up, but not the way he does. In the battle against the personification of evil, he calls it a retard and gets completely outsmarted. In the Cell fight, he ends up getting his dad killed because he just happened to go bloodlusted. He got written out of MC status by his dead father for God's sake.

No manga leaks jackass. How bout you actually stop pirating and support ViZ?

i'd rather support bamco

From the episode itself it does look like Gohan did nothing wrong, however the spoilers stated Gohan hesitates and ruins the opportunity made by 17.

The scene was so chaotic that I'm honestly not sure what the studio's intent was. Did Gohan stop because he didn't want to hurt 17 after the barrier went down or would Toppo just dodge anyway. It's impossible to say.

King Kai > Roshi = Whis in terms of Gokus teachers tbdesuwithyou

Pan is for ___

>Roshi
Worst teacher in existence. Just gave them fucking chores.

And taught them how to use ki waves. Useless.

Wrong, his personality just wasn't suited for an MC
Again, do you want me to list how pretty much every other character has fucked up just as hard or even harder than Gohan?

>Again, do you want me to list how pretty much every other character has fucked up just as hard or even harder than Gohan?
You don't have to, I will just casualy mention how Buu did all the damage he did just because Goku "anted to give the kids a turn".

violating

Exactly. because he is too passive for battle, and that leads to fuck ups;

>Piccolo training
>Guru unlock
>Namek zenkais
>Piccolo and Goku training before Androids
>RoSaT
>Kai unlock
2 out of 6 actually.

>Other characters have fucked up, but not the way he does. In the battle against the personification of evil, he calls it a retard and gets completely outsmarted. In the Cell fight, he ends up getting his dad killed because he just happened to go bloodlusted.
Vegeta fucks up way harder arguably, he's responsible for every dire situation after Frieza, with him literally helping Cell achieve perfect form because he was so sure of himself, and then releasing Buu becasue of his boner for Goku.

Is that Gohan's fault, or the writers for having a hate boner against anyone not named Goku?

Yeah but the spoilers have been wrong plenty of times, like that one where it said that Freeza got angry because Goku took care of the U2 warriors
But I understand the confusion
Indeed, he left the world's fate in the hands of two toddlers and one out of shape guy that doesn't even want to fight. It was an utter mistake.
Being too starved for battle also leads to fuck ups, Vegeta and Goku are clear examples

>Teach me how to do that and as thanks I'll beat you up

Has anyone in the entire canon understood Goku better than Caulifla does?

Ok, show me. Do it. Convince me that every other character has fucked up as hard as getting their dad killed and being outsmarted by the personification of evil AFTER getting a powerup, possibly dooming the world.
>wanted to give the kids a turn
Entrusting the next generation with stuff is wrong? Goku was fucking dead. If he was far away and unreachable, he expected them to do something.
Training!=Powerups.

>Indeed, he left the world's fate in the hands of two toddlers and one out of shape guy that doesn't even want to fight. It was an utter mistake.
This directly led to his entire family dying and he didn't even bat an eye. In Super however he is pissed when he learns Black killed his alternate family

But goku's starved for battle tends to be superior than Gohans lack of battle mentality. Goku is overall the best fit for the character because he usually finds a way to get the job done.

>Entrusting the next generation with stuff is wrong? Goku was fucking dead. If he was far away and unreachable, he expected them to do something.
The next generation wasn't able to defeat Buu, Goku stated he could have defeated Majin Buu.
Also thanks to that "chance" EVERYONE not named Satan has died. Not that it matters that much, but you know.

Then that was their fault for being so weak and complacent because their hero wasn't around.

It's impossible to argue that Gohan isn't the biggest Jobber in Dragon Ball history.

>tfw goku in dragon ball fighters mentions gohan finally doing something right for once after winning.

now try to explain how gohan isn't written as the biggest underachiever in the series

>Entrusting the next generation with stuff is wrong? Goku was fucking dead. If he was far away and unreachable, he expected them to do something
Consider that as far as Goku knew at the time Gohan was dead.
Consider that Vegeta was dead
Consider that the only fighters remaining at the time were Piccolo and the toddlers
Consider that Goku could've vaporized Buu but instead decided to leave everything in the hands of two arrogant kids and fusion that can only be used for a very limited amount of time against an opponent with extremely powerful regeneration

>Then that was their fault for being so weak and complacent because their hero wasn't around.
It wasn't. Goku can sense power levels. He shouldn't have put the weight of the world's fate on the kids when he tried the same with Cell and he almost blew up the Earth.
I mean it's obvious that Toriyama did so to spread out the plot and thought of an excuse later but

Literal TFS tier. He said he is proud of him in the manga after Cell began his exploding technique.

Shut the FUCK up

SS3 Gotenks was way stronger than SS3 Goku, power levels had nothing to do with it. The kids were powerful enough, they were just fuckups.
And? It was the kids' fault for being stronger than SS3 Goku and losing.

Nice head canon, kiddo

>SS3 Gotenks was way stronger than SS3 Goku, power levels had nothing to do with it. The kids were powerful enough, they were just fuckups.
Wrong

>SS3 Gotenks was way stronger than SS3 Goku
And Super Buu was stronger than Fat Buu. SS3 Goku wouldn't be able to defeat him and neither was SS3 Gotenks.

>GODhan might be eliminated
Not gonna happen.

Sure then.
>Goku
-Didn't finish off Ginyu when he had the chance and got his body swapped, which ended up incapacitating him for most of the final battle
-Didn't finish off Space Hitler which would come back to bite him in his ass later
-Didn't look for Dr Gero to stop him from creating the Androids because he wanted to fight them which caused the entire Cell arc
-Didn't tell Gohan his plan of using his hidden power
-Gave Cell a fucking Senzu Bean before he was about to fight his son in the battle that would decide the fate of Earth
-Didn't follow Shin's advice to stop Buu (That would've worked as we see in Trunks's future
-Didn't finish off Majin Vegeta and go help Gohan and Shin stop Buu
-Cockily taunted Buutenks and threw the potara to Gohan instead of telling him of his plan
-Saved Dende, Satan and a dog instead of Goten, Trunks and Gohan that could've been able to defeat Kid Buu without any help

And that's only DBZ, want me to keep going? because Vegeta is the worst

Go read the manga and find out yourself. It's always fun reading it for the first time.

SS3 Goku was stronger than Super Boo. If he weren't then he wouldn't be able to fight Kid Boo

No. Gohan is

I don't think he was actually, that was a dub thingie. In the manga he definitely isn't as strong and Kid Buu isn't as strong as Super Buu either. Just more ferocious.

Goku was scared of super buu, so no

Gohan's biggest fuckup was against Buu, he barely has any other fuck ups in other arcs, and the ones he had was when he was 4 or 5 years old ffs

The kids have the right to fuck up, Goku fucked up many times as a kid, guess he was lucky his opponents at the time weren't strong enough to instantly exterminate entire population of the planet the moment he loses.
I personally don't think he would've been able to destroy Buu, but he said he could've prevented everything and choose not to.

Kaioshin says Boo lost power by absorbing Kais. He says this in the manga
Kid Boo is the strongest Boo, not counting Buuhan and Buutenks obviously.

Goku was lying. He wanted the kids to beat boo, and only fought when absolutely necessary. Even as Vegito he refused to kill Boo so he could have the kids do it

He fucked up killing cell, which resulted in needing help from Vegeta and Goku. You can't really compare the two, because gohan doesn't have much of a resume that Goku has, but the time Gohan had to step it up, he failed one way or another

>Kid Boo is the strongest Boo, not counting Buuhan and Buutenks obviously.
>According to Goku and Vegeta, his power spikes up when he changes from Super Buu to the huge Buu but goes back down when he reverts to Kid Buu; though Goku and Vegeta underestimate him due to his size. Later, Kibito Kai commented that, while on Earth in this state, Kid Buu is more dangerous than ever due to his uncontrollable nature.

No. he wasn't lying. this was post gotenks

>biggest fuckup was against Buu
The weight of which is greater than almost every other fuckup in the series. Being outsmarted by the guy who casually killed every living thing on Earth is the worst fuckup possible.
Every time there has been a crucial moment, Gohan has fucked up and had to get bailed out by Daddy and Uncle Geets.

Because he was a 9 years old that didn't want to fight. And he was pushed to fight a monster that's way stronger than the Emperor of the universe.

Goku's battle autism has put everyone in danger plenty of times, In the Cell arc they ended up depending on a 9 year old to save them from the monster they refused to kill time and time again

Nice headcanon.

>but goes back down when he reverts to Kid Buu
Never happens. All they say is "he's shorter now" and judge him by size. Then they immediately freak out when he actually shows his power.

He was still lying. Why I don't know, but when he finally goes SS3 against Kid Boo, even Vegeta is shocked.

Nah, that was stated only in the anime, which says that he is the strongest.
Do you have a page where it says what you mention?

There's been only two crucial moments where he fucked up, and again the only unexcusable one was against Buu.

But Goku and Vegeta have even worse ones, are you fucking kidding me?

>Then they immediately freak out when he actually shows his power.
Which they state that isn't as much as before but is more dangerous because of his nature.

>he was still lying

That's just headcanon dude

Goku has defeated bosses at a young age as well. Gohan is nothing without his father or piccolo, which is why he was never able to do anything in the future. Gohan always needed his dad. Goku has saved the earth more than once. The only reason why Goku has more fuck ups because he had more situations to do it, Gohan has a worse resume

They never state this. They never mention his power again after saying that it's increasing.

fucking headcanon kek

Do you not get it? Those two crucial moments were when the fate of the world depended on solely him at that time. Goku and Vegeta fucked up, but they had others, themselves included, who'd rectify it.

The only saiyan to not be a total fuck up with their mentality is Future Trunks. Goku, Vegeta and Gohan all fuck up all the time.

I'll give Goten and Kid Trunks a pass because they're kids.

>Kaioshin says Boo lost power by absorbing Kais. He says this in the manga
He says that he lost power by absorbing the Grand Kaioshin. Nothing is said about him having lost power when absorbing the South Kaioshin.

I will read up on the mango again so that we don't continue this. Thanks for being civil.

Why they rely on a kid who doesn't like to fight but they ignore the two kids who unlocked SS like nothing and they actually enjoy fighting?

>future trunks
>not a fuck up

that's some serious head canon you retard.

Goku fucks it up all the time but he is the only one who does shit. He beat freeza, had to motivate Gohan to kill cell, and killed buu with the help of vegeta and mr satan. no one else can say that other than maybe trunks

They say the souls, aka plural, tamed him.

Future Trunks fucks up by not being strong enough, not due to his menality.

Yes and in almost every single situation he was facing he was stronger than the enemy. the only time he really faced someone stronger was against Tao and Piccolo
>Gohan is nothing without his father or piccolo
He did pretty well in Namek when Krillin was his only ally.

Oh so just because someone can pick up the slack it's okay to make mistakes? Face it you just hate Gohan when other characters have done worse. With that mindset Gohan's mistakes are also forgiven since he ended up killing Cell in the end, And Buu's also forgiven since Goku and Vegeta came back

Here, I have the page. This is all Goku and Vegeta say about Kid Boo when he first appears

>And taught them how to use ki waves
He didn't actually. Goku figured out by himself and then later Yamcha and Kuririn did the same by mimicking other fighters. He didn't actually teach them any techniques.

He didn't fucking lose power, he just became docile and controllable.
Show me the page where they state he became weaker.

The point of Kid Boo is he's an anomaly. He's supposed to revert to the weaker skinny boo, but instead he turns into this outrageous evil that is insanely strong and has insane regen far better than the other Buus.
It doesn't make sense but that's what AT decided happened

Goku does fix his fuck ups, but they're also ones that could easily be avoided. Frieza at full power for example.

He became weaker because he wasn't able to access his full power thanks to the Kaioshins that he absorbed

>Yes and in almost every single situation he was facing he was stronger than the enemy. the only time he really faced someone stronger was against Tao and Piccolo

Gohan never beat anyone stronger than him. Despite him being very talented, he never took advantage of it. This is why he's an underachiever and why Goku is the main character

Battle autism > potential

That's just your headcanon.

>he usually finds a way to get the job done
You mean the plot finds a way to get the job done. Everyone's character is garbage because of bad writing. Gohan lost all of his potential, and is simultaneously smart and a fucking idiot, because the writers are fucking idiots. Can't write a character smarter than yourself.

read

Nowhere does it state he became WEAKER.

Because he wasn't able to? he constantly fought against multiple enemies stronger than him even when he wasn't properly trained all the time. That doesn't make him a fuck up, he is doing something he doesn't wants to for the sake of his friends and family. and yet people shit on him as if he always fucks everything up.

He wasn't even supposed to intervene in the Cell arc, but since everyone fucked up multiple times he had to

Oh so that's where that random kai character who looks like fat buu in dokkan came from. Neat

>just hate Gohan
Yes, because he is the worst fuck-up in the series. He is the only one in the series put in situations where the fate of everything rests on him, only to job and get bailed out.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

>15 posters

Too bad West Kaioshin and East Kaioshin don't have a canon design.

The plural part was added by Viz translation and wasn't there in the original Japanese.

It doesn't even make sense. Nothing apparently happens when he absorbs South Kaioshin and then Old Kai says that both souls calmed him down?

He only had two of those situations, and he wouldn't have to be in them if it wasn't for everyone else fucking up and creating monsters that they can't handle. So they pussy out and put everything in the hands of the one guy that doesn't wants to fight and wants to be a normal human.

He always ends up in shitty situations thanks to everyone else being incompetent

So it's just your headcanon after all, got it.
TAMER=/=WEAKER

>no caulifla yet
>wtf

I'm assuming he gained a personality when he absorbed South Kai, and was basically Super Boo on steroids
Then he became docile when he absorbed the fat one.
However with no Kais, he's evil incarnate

>He is the only one in the series put in situations where the fate of everything rests on him, only to job and get bailed out.
It's the Goku show, what do you expect?

And that's where im getting at. You want to give gohan a pass for being a kid, but Goku save the world various times at a young age. Goku has beaten more main villains than Gohan has faced main villains. Gohan is 1-2 when it comes to main villains. If you take Goku out of the picture, Gohan would never reach ss2, would have let earth been destroyed by buu and would have been a let a failure like his future self. There is no even no way to say that Goku is a bigger failure when hehas more ups than downs. Literally every single villain defeat or death he was a part in

Because we are having actual discussion? and this is a CHADhan thread so fuck off
