Monstruous creatures are going on a killing spree one then peaceful afternoon until he's saved by a girl who turns out to be the his childhood friend. There is a bunch of sides fighting over a twin pair of golden relics that grant whatever wish to the world.
>Highschool setting and twelve parallel worlds located at the reverse side of the world.
>Aether is a manifestation of power that can be present through those who were born with such, encompassing the overall life energy and associated ideals within one’s life, which is connected through the balance of mind, spirit, belief and action. If the user’s Aether get succumbed into darkness in the hands of evil, it would evolve into something called “Corruption”.
>MC is easy-minded, understanding if a bit cynical guy willing to help others. His Artifact (weapon) is a flame-driven sword
>Childhood friend, human female best friend, mysterious girl interested in MC's backstory, antihero, bodyguard from MC's Spectrum, alchemist, kid mage, muscular lancer and cute mercenary
>A Illuminati-like group searching after the golden relic so that they can use it to bring devastating wishes to the world, while there is another group protecting the relic's identity a deep secret, fearing its dangerous potential.

A wimpy boy learns to fight a strong girl.

Unable to confess...

he dies From being so ugly,He then makes a magical pact with an unknown spirit to become a strong sexy girl....

In a society where there are only girls! After being told that there is only one man left in the world...

I have the power to defeat anyone but it only works on girls?

The MC is a Pope of a pseudo-christian church. One day only he finds out that the literal incarnations of Jesus and Satan have been born. Not wanting the secret to be discovered, not wanting the war and not wanting to lose his powerful position, sets a goal to track down and kill both supernatural beings. His sidekick is a super sexy tsundere nun.

He (she) sets to find him and kill him, fulfilling his yuri fantasies

However, he is stopped by a bunch of girls that can kick ass and want to preserve the last man standing (literally)

>MC
Ex assassin who somehow got stuck with his last victims vivid memories that now torture him. Sets out to find an expert exorcist to clean his mind and conscience.
>Villain
the only such expert is the victim's widow wife who now has to raise 4 young children
>magic system
To use a spell against someone you have to tell them one of your secrets that concerns both of you

Setting:
~middleages. Different cities. If a person born in city A is in a city B, his 'youth' gets sucked and distributed between the people born in city B making them younger (at a very slow pace, but can be accumulated increasing the amount of foreigners). People from different cities differ only in eye color. Eye lenses exist.
MC:
Idk, a self insert who discovers the truth while being kept in a foreign city by a secretly hostile foster family. Is deeply rooted in the 'foreign' city, culture and community. Has a bff and a love interest here.

>MC:
>Idk, a self insert

And THIS is what is wrong with anime. People are too lazy to make the character with the most screen time interesting.

Are kingdom hearts and trails the only "long running" original shonen games.

What's so original about them?

The Bible 2: Reckoning

They engage in a one-on-one fight arc, while all the girls on either side allude to eachother's strength through rumors and providing play-by-play commentary, running for over 20 episodes

certain humans are able clone themselves using a process called death_mitosis
this process occurs at the moment of death or as the result of massive trauma
simply put the old self dies and two new clones are born from his remains.
in theory this makes them functionally immortal as they can produce infinite copies of themselves, however as they produce more copies the clones suffer degradation or possess deviant personalities

clones can also be of different sexes

as the 22nd century dawns the number of active death_mitosis users has dropped significantly, they have either suffered mutations or their lineage has fallen foul it's deviant progeny
despite this at this time they possess enormous power and wealth (equal to the imperial families of europe) so any new user; free from the degenerative effects of hundreds of divisions, is a threat to the established order.

MC is a 14 year old boy unaware of his powers, he lives in a small village with his parents
*cue truck kun*
now there are two MCs (a boy; a1 and a girl; a2)
when his parents find out they reveal this is not the first time this has happened. when he was 6 years old MC fell ill and his body divided.
his twin MC_b was taken by a shadowy organization but he was spared on condition that they were alerted if it ever happened again.
at this moment the village is raided the military
MC_a2 is captured but MC_a1 escapes with the assistance of an unknown woman
she is a member of an order of death_mitosis users who have accepted mortality and carries a weapon that can permanently kill a d_m user
she was sent to kill MC_a but since MC_a2 was captured her plans have changed

she explains that the organization that kidnapped his twin sister is headed by himself or rather a deviant descendant of his twin MC_b
MC_b was experimented on and forced to divide hundreds of times now his deranged clone MC_bX wants to do the same to MC_a2 in an effort to correct the hereditary flaws in his own lineage.

Beautiful

perhaps you can make an interesting battle shounen MC

If your setting is any indication, I can imagine the MC to be a somewhat optimistic guy with a highly troubled past, namely the fact he's kept isolated by his hostile foster family. That's why he wanted to learn the outside world for the sake of revenge, kind of like Eren from Attack on Titan.

His BFF is a bishie-looking bro who loves to tease the MC but will probably die sacrifing something at one point in the story, while the love interest is an active genki girl with modest chest who clearly believes in him and will probably even end up together with the MC unless either of those will die at the end.

It would be cool if you make a fantasy battle shounen that isn't afraid of subverting clichés that plague the genre and from the looks of it, the direction of the story can go anywhere but personally it shouldn't be afraid to show dark moments on screen and have the balls to kill off important characters (even the main ones) providing they were given sufficient development. Developing the romance between the MC and his love interest (important or not) could be done very well as long it doesn't interfere the story focused on battles and comedy. By that it could be shown throughout it and not just the epilogue.

I don't know. When I think of Goku, Luffy or Naruto, they are overly optimistic, goal-driven and energetic. Doesn't sound like the typical Japanese (or the typical anime watcher, really).

multimedia
guy fucks up army of demons that you can dismember as brutally as possible due to being made out of particle effects and swirls
standard world that got attacked by demons and have taken full control over various countries
Standard Ki, learning proper control and utilization is necessary
protagonist is a delinquent from the bad part of town, naturally tough but generally wants to do the right thing while breaking bad guys. Possesses skills with various improvised weapons and amateur boxing techniques. Can focus and dramatically increase his muscle mass at the cost of speed, which leads to grappling and counter based style in this form.
rival/love interest is a seemingly normal meganekko with a sukeban persona. Utilizes a brutal style with claw swipes, eye pokes, and utilization of pressure points. Likes bats and pipes. Has the power to transform, giving her darker skin and blonde hair, further enhancing her natural abilities and energy manipulation.
Antagonist varies, but most prominent is the demon army's generals, all of whom possess various abilities and fighting styles. Human enemies such as human traffickers, mob bosses, homeless hitters, and rapists are also encountered

This will make your cringe but this shit doesn't get too many post so

Manga
>Plot
Three way clusterfuck against the Technologically advanced Not-Brits, the Mystical Not-Indians, and the Divine magic based Not-Muslims.

>Setting
Not India during the not-British Raj

>Energy/Magic system
Path of the three gods, Shiva representing normal battle shounen bullshit, Brahma having attacks based on materialization, and Vishnu being tanks with various defensive powers. Not Muslims have more jack of all trades divine powers to them, while the Not Brits just shoot people

>Protagonist
Not-Gunkas motherfucker that is MC is the reincarnation of a warrior that always appears to save everyone, but he was born and raised among the not-brits and even have friendly relations with the not-Muslims he must decide whether he will save only his people or have everyone get along with each other

>Other main characters (with backstory)
There's the Not-Brit father Boss/Mentor/Father figure that spouts exposition, The other reincarnated warriors that are very much in the side of the Not-Indians, Not-Muslim love interest, His other Not-Gunkas co-workers one of whom wants him to do his god-damn job and the other is the Mustang character who tries to keep politics out of their work, and the various elders who have their own agendas.

>Antagonist
on the secular world there's the leaders of the Not East Indian trading company and the Not Muslims. The latter is unscrupulous as fuck and does everything he can for profit the other is the opposite extreme religiously fanatical as fuck and wants to unite Not-India under his rule. On the other-side his reincarnations gained quite the number of enemies who are not dead and want to fuck with him

He becomes Not Ghandi in the end

I didn't make that story I just curious if someone can make a story that isn't either dragon ball or jojo (or one of them isekai)

Its not that hard to make a battle shounen that isn't any of those titles, read more manga.

I have an idea without a setting, of kids that gain the ability to turn into different mythical creatures. MC has the power of the phoenix, which gives him regeneration and healing, and he takes advantage of the super reg to become physically stronger through training and healing. The main girl can turn into a dragon, she's kinda proud because obviously has one of the better beasts, and sometimes gets into trouble for causing much destruction. The rival is a kid that is super serious and can turn into a fairy. Most think he's ridiculous, but he can move fast, is hard to hit, and as fairies from Irish folklore, can punch pretty hard.

As I said, I don't have a setting, I was thinking of a sort of fantasy world where they sometimes enter, where humans don't live, only fantastic creatures. The possible villains are, for an opposite of the MC, a kid with the power of the hydra, who did more or less the same than him, but with the plus that his regeneration makes him stronger (getting more snake heads). Other possible villains have the powers of the boogeyman (can dissapear in darkness or closed spaces, and use them as portals, he also carries a bag that can use as an infinity pocket, like the Latin American version of the boogeyman, the old man with the bag), and a duo that can turn into a kappa and a water nymph, the nymph covers his weak point in the head and makes sure it's always full of water, kappa is insanely strong as long as he has water on the head.

I also don't have personalities or anything like that well thought out, I just think the concept of mythical creatures brawling could be fun.

This question is always made on these kind of threads, but is there a classical setting like pirates or ninjas that hasn't been used yet in a battle shonen? I think the best option is cowboys, even though there are a few cowboy manga there's no one really popular.

>spoiler
You mean the MC? Also, the fuck is a Gunka?

It sounds quite plausible though, it could be nice to not make it too close to actual history. Having a MC that wants absolute peace and probably not fight too much is interesting, but you need him to punch stuff and people in a battle shonen anyway.

Samurai maybe?
Or how about western knights? Mages (like Fairy Tail)? Or assassins?

Battle Tendies
Autists battling to determine the greatest robot.
Every opponent is autistic in their own way and somehow use it in combat.
MC is a normie pretending to be retarded so he can join the tournament.
Antagonist is also pretending to be retarded and discovers the duplicity of MC.
Just before the antagonist exposes this the MC gets brain damage in a fight.

I think the problem with knights and assassins is that they're too violent. In One Piece, for example, characters can punch each other but not neccessarily kill or maim each other. Knights use weapons that end in serious injuries always, and assassins obviously can't back down from killing. But if the ideas could be softened a little, maybe it could work.

Manga
Treasure hunters race to find maps around the world to find lost civilizations and buried treasure.

Globe trotting. Starting at a university library to various treks to a more fantastical Middle East, Africa, and South America. Incorporating a living mythology.

Artifacts found on their journey ranging from esoteric magics and histories. Multi purpose tools that help them find new civilization and fight new threats.

FemMC: Bookworm, Afraid of going outside at first, Dislikes fighting. Loves puzzles and reading maps.

Govt sponsored team:

M side character: Stoic, no nonsense, to the point. Great with fire arms and hand to hand combat, warms up as story progresses. You will want to protect that smile.

F side character: Slight genki, foil to M side character, known for the bantz. When push comes to shove a survivalist and killing machine. You will cry your eyes out when she dies mid series.

Antagonist/Rivals

Three fold:
Three competing companies/governments

Faction 1: Traditional treasure hunters/mercenaries. Fun loving types. More likely seen doing field work and a few reoccurring characters.

Faction 2: Corporate interest. Headed by a pair of love able goofs who kill, rip, and dismember their way to the maps and artifacts. Lots of expendable characters and they will kill a lot of characters you love from faction 1 and 3.

Faction 3: You know that group that helps you out so you can get your bearings. They are the end boss for the final arc. Not because they're asshole or evil. But a race against time with a sempai turned rival makes it way more fun.

Battle shounen can be very violent without being classified as seinen so I don't see how it couldn't work realistically.

More than the violence itself, is that fights could rarely end without a character being dead, while most shonen rely on having the same characters appear again and fight various times.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, I personally don't see how to adapt them to a typical fighting shonen structure. I guess that knights don't really need to kill each other, and the seriousness of the injuries can be downplayed if they're superhuman or something (not literally superhuman, but more like Dragon Ball superhuman, where a normal human can train to tank bullets).

>More than the violence itself, is that fights could rarely end without a character being dead, while most shonen rely on having the same characters appear again and fight various times.
>What is Shigurui (is actually a shonen despite the looks)?

I have watched Chivalry of Failed Knight and the plot is essentially about superpowered knights like what you have described somewhat.

Haven't posted this in a while so here goes.

In this world, there exists a type of teardrop-shaped crystal that resonates with human thought patterns, allowing telekinetic control over the crystals once they have been bound to their owner through blood. This skill is called Gemamancy. These crystals are common in wealthy cities, where they are worn as jewelry and function like concealed weaponry. Their edges are sharper than broken glass and can travel through the air at high speeds. Beyond that, they also have many practical, every-day uses.

There are also many people who disapprove of their use, such as MC's family. A teenage tomboy raised in a small community miles from the largest city on the continent, she is sent with her brother for supplies. She is very interested in the crystals and doesn't understand her family's disapproval. While in the city, she learns more about the crystals and starts to question her family's hatred of them - until she gets caught up in a black-market tournament where crystals are won in dangerous battles.

Rarely, people may have a unique gift for controlling the crystals. Two of the most powerful include being able to steal ownership of any crystal, and being able to strip a crystal of ownership. Antagonist has the former, while MC finds that she has the latter (along with a another power where she can control any near-by unbound crystal).

Interesting. And how do they do with the character deaths? Does someone always die at the end of every fight?

>Visual Novel
>Battle Royale with 4 4-Person teams. Each team has its theme to it and each person has unique abillities. To win the battle you need to eliminate all the other teams, or you need to shut out them from their powers. To do it, you have to destroy their special item.
>These days Kyoto. There are some spirits who enjoy watching teens kill each other. So, each 100 years they grant the powers to the chosen ones and make them fight. Winner team is allowed to keep their powers for themselves.
>There are 4 teams: Eye, Flesh, Finger, Foot. Each team's powers are focused on something one. Eye's powers are focused on consciousness manipulation. Flesh — vitality and endurance. Finger — manipulating people. Foot — stealth infiltrations. Main team is Eye team.
>17 yo nihilistic girl with no friends and wicked sense of humor. Has the power called The Maze of Events. It allows her to make some kind of conscious time travel each time she have a choice to do. Her special item is eye-shaped hairpin.
>Genki girl who is good almost at anything except for thinking before doing. Has the power called Slowed Acceleration. It allows her consciousness to slow down when she hears high-pitched sounds, It also speeds up her analysing abilities. Wristwatches. Keikaku guy, who lies a lot and trolls everyone. Genki's childhood friend. Has the power called The Curse of Deception. With the help of this abillity he can tell lies and everyone believes him. No matter how absurd this lie is. Glasses. The last in Eye team is easygoing bro guy. He argues with Genki girl and Keikaku a lot and kinda likes MC. His power is Mental Link. It allows him to link two people by watching in the eyes of the first and then touching the second with his left hand. Linked people are able to read each others minds, share feelings and use each others powers.Chain.
>The only antagonist they have is spirit, who gave them their powers.

(Continued)

Finding that they are foils of each other, MC and Antagonist duke it out in battles of giant crystal storms as MC's brother tries his best to disentangle her from the black-market tournament through any means necessary – including entering the tournament himself. He does so secretively after discovering an old family heirloom that may be the single largest crystal in existence. His fighting style involves using this massive crystal as a shield and he discovers a latent ability that makes crystals under his control unbreakable. By disguising himself and entering the tournament, he attempts to knock his sister out of the running before any real harm comes to her. However, he underestimates the brutality of the tournament and his sister's will to win.

It would mostly have a battle-of-the-week style. Some of the finalists include:
-The record-holder for most number of crystals bound to one person, which he achieved through skill alone (no special powers).
-A teenage girl who was raised specifically for the tournament, groomed to be an efficient and remorseless killing machine. She controls a single small crystal with surgical precision and her fighting style relies on killing the opponent as fast as possible rather than fending off attacks.
-Antagonist, of course.

Haven't watched Shigurui yet (not my kind of series) but the fights seems brutal in many ways, you could try it as an example someday.

Sounds's pretty cool, I'd watch it. I like how the antagonist has essentially the same power as the MC. Does MC's power involve fire at all? It seems like he needs something else in addition to the regen considering the other guy has an additional thing, otherwise antagonist is just a straight upgrade (unless MC needs a weaker power so he can fight against the odds and win through determination/the power of love/etc).

Main character is a girl that learns necromancy from a mysterious forest witch. During a bandit attack, his only alive family, his older brother, is killed, and she hides in the forest just to see the old woman being killed too. Desperate, she searches something to help her in the old woman's house, and she finds instructions to revive the dead and a potion. She uses the potion and the instructions to summon his brother back to life, as a powerful zombie fighter. He drives the bandits away. They learnt that the bandits were actually allowed to roam free by the local lord in exchange for killing the witch, and now there's a price on the little girl's head, so they travel together trying to find out the reason behind the conspiracy to kill all the necromancers.

During the first episodes, she uses her powers to summon dead people and solve mysteries, and also learns a technique where she can summon all the ghosts of people with a grudge against someone to attack that person. His brother also improves his fighting prowess, he doesn't need to eat or sleep, but he needs to bury underground to regenerate his decaying body and if his little sister dies, he dies too. Their main antagonist is a knight from a Templar order, obsessed with killing all the necromancers, with holy powers similar to the zombie guy's powers. He eventually starts doubting his mission after seeing that they're actually good people, and helps uncover the real reason after the witch hunt of necromancers (the church and the nobles have been abusing the power for themselves, and they don't want the spirit of the church founder to be ever summonned, because he was a necromancer himself).

I googled it and it seems to be about a tournament. A short tournament doesn't have the problem a long running series would face from having most of the cast dying, though I will check it anyway. Also, it seems that they center on the rivalry between the two main characters, which means the series is over after one of them dies, avoiding the problem altogether. I will check it anyway, I was just thinking in terms of the usual fighting shonen that, if successfull, are milked out for eternity, and where popular characters might not freely die because they're popular.

>A short tournament doesn't have the problem a long running series would face from having most of the cast dying, though I will check it anyway.
There's already the manga for it, but it is complete so better opt for that.

So Gundam Build Fighters in some way?

Yeah, I like the idea of the rival being the MC but better. He can generate fire but he consumes himself, so it's a balance about using fire attacks and regenerating. If he were to consume himself completely, the transformation deactivates, and the same goes for hydra guy. In fact, I thought he's eventually defeated because he spams too much heads and arms, and MC has fire going through many of them at the same time, causing so much pain he drops the transformation. Though it's only one possibility.

Damn it that's adorable.

Manga
>plot
In a world where lolis are treated as valuable objects, our MC is a guy with a strong sense of justice who is looking for his two little sisters who were kidnapped and sold as slaves. He's travelling around the world releasing slave lolis (sometimes naked) while finding a way to locate his sisters.
>setting
Set in a post-apocalyptic world in a barren country that looks like Japan.
>energy system
Little girls emanate a strange power known as rori-chikara (loli power).
>protagonist
A young man who lived in a very poor house with his two little sisters until they were kidnapped. One day when MC released the first loli slave he realized that he can absorb the power inside lolis, using this to defeat those who slave them. Moved by his kindness, these slave little girls decide to join him in his adventure. He becomes stronger depending on how many lolis are travelling with him.
>other main characters
The first loli that MC released. She's a pretty strong girl who lived as a slave since she was a baby. She instantly fell in love with MC but she's a huge tsundere.
>antagonist
A big, fat old guy who looks like a pedophile. He has the same power as MC and wants to collect every loli and then conquer the world (or maybe to have the largest loli harem in history).

Also there are ancient clothes called "artifacts" that enhance the power of the loli who wears it. They look like normal clothes like swimsuits, frilly dresses, maid costume, bunny outfits or skin tight leather clothes.

A young boy wants to be the big dude, the most respected dude. Thus he enters dude school, where he must compete against other kids who want to be dudes for whatever reason. He has a mentor who is a famous dude and actually related to the current big dude. Other kids include an angsty rival who has a spotted history, a cute girl who is just there for shipping bait, and a cute girl who is actually a boy.

holly shit user this better be meta shitposting

There's a reason why people like BnHA.

Sup Forums academy would be a fun anime.
Imagine that every board is a class and has its own president-(its -tan). Every year all the board tans must fight each other for Hiroyuki's fun and the winner gets to be the site's dominant board.
The first season starts with pol being the dominant board and it's up to some other board to claim its place in power.
There could also be some very interesting interactions between the boards and the anons

Delinquent MC out in the slums of some huge city. He drops out of school because he wants to do things his way regardless of how detrimental his actions are.
Heroine is a cop who always seems to cross paths with the MC and over time grows to love him.
MC's best friend used to be a leader of an old gang who was notorious for taking out 50 members of a rival gang alone. He's a mechanic who hooks the MC up with a place to crash and other things.
MC's other friend is the owner of an arcade that used to be around for a long time. He dies when trying to hide the MC from his father's men.
There's a character that's unaffiliated with anyone. He's a bum that gives street info to people for other bits of information. He's untouched by criminals and thugs because of the respect he's earned.
First minor antagonist is the MC's little brother who hated him since the MC was perfect (beauty, strength, intelligence, knowledge, popularity) while he was nothing compared to him (nerdy, weak, unpopular)
Second minor antagonist is the MC's older sister who is a sadist who tries to torture the MC and ,when she inevitably fails, tries to kill him.
The 3rd antagonist tries to kidnap the MC for ransom. The MC's father saves him and orders the MC to stop acting out or he'd have him disappear.
Main antagonist is the MC's father who is a multi-billionaire. Since the father is such a perfectionist and narcissist he tries to erase the MC off the face of the earth for damaging his reputation.

I'm imagining something like Cromartie. Janky, random and barely animated but immensely entertaining.

Good point. Though I would never think that Deku is the main strenght of BnHA.

>Have you ever punched someone so hard...
I'll let you guys fill in the rest.

>Plumber man gets hired to clean clogged toilets in some shady organisation, gets dragged into shady business when discovers human remains in the sewer, shit ends with him repelling the alien invasion using his powers
>power of the hero is based on superhuman awareness and precognition related exclusively to pipes and pipe like objects
>Plumber Man was raised by the Polish master of toilet cleaning once was beaten up by drunk master so hard he went unconsciouss he figured out that the pipe is the pinnacle of human achievent, all the best and coolest things are made out of pipes like rockets, engines, ISS and even Hadron Collider are all giant pipes. With experience he gained ability to make any weapon, cannon or a wehicle and even an exoskeleton out of sewer pipes and flushing mechanisms. Is armed with a plunger with which he can do almost anything due to his experience. When Plumberman is inside a pipe or a tunnel he gets superhuman enviromental awareness and survival ability.
>Sidekick is Mitsubishi, a sentient japanese toilet android who was designed to wash and dry owner's ass, help with household chores, play with kids and be a personal friend. He had so many functions he gained self awareness and advanced intelligence. Being the best Japanese toilet is a central part of his identity so he adopted samurai mentality. After his owner was murdered he considers himself a ronin and is seeking to awenge him before comitting seppuku.

>Type of format (manga, anime, game or novel)
manga/anime

>Plot
A girl from a wizard family wants to go to a prestigious school, but is discouraged by her mother. Her father is a wanted magical criminal, and her mother thinks her daughter will follow through his steps, so she doesn't want her to train anymore. She runs away to enroll anyway, and prove her family wrong, becoming a great wizard and finding the truth about her dad, who she believes is innocent.

>Setting
Renaissance-like world with a magic underworld. Magic can be learnt like Nen, through contact with it, but most ordinary people don't know about it, and the process is still very dangerous. There's a Magic Council that rules everything magic related, with representants of each of the most important magical families, and a bunch of rules about magic use.

>Energy/Magic System
Magic is divided into different kinds of spells: Enchantments are the spells of energy, who change the state of things, Transmutations are the spells of matter, that can change the properties of stuff, Divinations are the spells of knowledge, in this setting would be used as the "ki detectors" more than scrying the future. More advanced categories are the magic of space (teleportation), the magic of rules (geas, curses, conditional spells), the magic of time (for spells that have to last forever), etc etc. Arranged into a tree that I don't have fully thought.

>Protagonist (with backstory)
A girl from a wizard family, her mother hates his father, who is a criminal runaway, and her family doesn't think highly of her either. She is initially forbidden to go to the magical academy, and while she doesn't know it, it is in part for a prophecy that she will become a Dark Lady (it happens by accident, but since black magic isn't evil by itself it's not a big deal)

>Other main characters
A guy that makes parlor tricks on the streets, that ends up dragged by MC into the plot when she thinks his magic is real, and gets real magic; his main ability is Transmutation, turning things into cards and viceversa.
A magical enforcer with an antimagic saber that gets MC in trouble for not having a license and council approved magic wand. Eventually becomes their friend. Her main ability is parrying spells using his wand as a sword, and cutting through things to nullify the magic in them.
Two street performers who turn out to be magical thieves, with a possible connection to MC's father. One of them has the power of summoning a guardian that can enter and exist in any space she can't, the other one is an expert in magic of the Mind, using perfumes to appear differently to every person.
MC's older sister, she's the mother's favourite, and kinda loves her little sister, but by virtue of being the favourite and being more convinced of their dad's criminal status they don't get along. Potions expert and Space magic expert.
Her father, who is an expert in the forbidden branches of time travel. He discovered that the actual timeline is a fabrication and wants to know the real one. Also a conspiraacy theorist that thinks the council uses wands and licenses to spy on wizards and has a homemade wand (he's right about the council, though)

>Antagonist
The rival is a talented witch who also has a prophecy, to either destroy or join the evil. Because of her destiny, has a lot of pressure on her shoulders and is kinda proud, eventually won over by the MC.
The main antagonist, is an evil witch that was vanquished years ago in a mysterious incident where only the rival survived, as a baby. It turns out that an experiment to regain youth went awry, and the evil witch turned into a baby, who is the rival. The villains make her regain her evil memories, and when she does, she's torn away between her old evil self and her new good self.

Ninja girl uses sex to defeat big dicked Yokai monsters

Manga
The overlord slash the main bad guy from a fantasy RPG type world is defeated by a group of old Wizards who sacrificed themselves to transport him to our world and also transform him to small child he still has his powers but it's very weekend and he and a couple other of his friends (who gained magical powers from The Wizards that defeated the Overlord )who he gained from this world must save this world after his former allies try to rescue him by sending monsters but they don't know that he was transformed into a kid

It could be interesting, but sounds bland for some reason. It might be the term Gemamancy, adding "mancy" to something sounds boring. The fights could be great, specially if the crystals are everywhere in the world.

Off the top of my head idea.

A world exists where magic lies in the elements of a thing, and that words evolved as a way to manifest that power. While magic has faded over the centuries, two groups of magic uses still exist, vying for power with one another:

Scribes use the Written Word as their source of power, giving them abilities like: Remembering every word of
every book they've ever read on any subject, or being able to engrave words into an object to enhance it's power, such as "sharp" into a sword making it able to cut through steel.

Meanwhile Vocalists use the Spoken Word for powers, and can do things like summoning any inanimate object they can speak the name of that they're intimately familiar with, or the ability to issue commands to any person who's full name they can say, as long as that command takes less characters than that character's name.

Former best friends turned bitter rivals start at the Academy, each born with a once a century power, one wiht Erase, who can wipe away another's written magic, the other with Echo, which allows him to duplicate the powers of spoken word magics. These two will being their rise to the top, each building a close circle of friends and allies who will help them in their fierce battle to reach the top spot of the Academy.

And I'll fucking name it Wordsworth so everyone who googles it will turn up a bunch of porn images because that will teach them just how powerful words can be. It's all very meta.

I've got catalogs of autistic battle shounen shit saved to some google docs. I could scrounge it up if anyone is interested

This is a cool idea. Flesh out the world and your characters and you got a story on your hands. Any more character ideas in mind? also central conflict?

Sounds interesting but the characters sound a little cliche, and death tournaments tend to suffer from a detracting amount of edge. a lot of potentials.

>Anime
I'm going to take this from a dead thread.
>Currently in the top 5 idol rank of not japan, her personal information being surrounded by mystery combined with her flashy appearance, videos full of strong and quickly changing visuals and her unique songs being all the rage in the most popular clubs, made this presumably high school girl reach the #4 spot in less than 10 months after her first song was uploaded to not youtube.
And add our shonen protag.
>We are presented with a male highschool student running away from what seem to be crystal bombs that freeze everything around them (while the new single of the girl above plays in the background) this guy is our mc, participating in the semi finals of the state break off championship, the most popular tactical sport of not japan. While being shun down upon at the begining, he quickly became the favorite after obliterating his rivals at the quarter finals but somehow is having a hard time fighting the builder's district favorite!?
>The setting is a futuristic earth that has survived an alien invasion (Because I want to add aliens later on) while the powers are unique to each individual they all use hyaka cores as a medium and even though right now is deemed as a sport, it began as a series of experiments to turn humans into weapons capable of face interstellar foes.
>As other characters there's his step brother that acts as his manager, his rival that lives far away but promised to meet him at the nationals, a childhood friend who he hasn't seen in 7 years and his 2 best friends that are in the same class as him.

Do you guys think you can write up a 15 minute episode plot?

You mean the scrip? no.
The "plot" I believe all of these could be adapted to a 15 minute anime episode.

ORUWEIZU

Can anyone here write scripts? That would be great.

I've taken a shot at screenwriting before, but prose is really more my area. I'd need a refresher on script formatting.

Yeah, this plot stuff is all cool, but the one who has them as an idea should really be able to write a script along with it. I think they know it best even if they're inexperienced. Another person won't take a jab at a plot because they will have different visions. It's sad to see these ideas never get realized.

I dunno, I feel like a lot of these could spawn decent short stories if the people coming up with the ideas were committed to properly writing them out. They don't necessarily have to be adapted straight into manga or tv format to be realized.

I doubt Sup Forums would accept a dedicated short story writing thread but it sounds as though people here have ideas that wouldn't really fly on other boards.

I'd encourage anons here to give writing a shot, it can be a lot of fun.

>Any format
>The year is 2124, humanity is on the brink of extinction after a plague destroyed 3/4ths of the world's population. The survivors fled underground, and created a new civilization out of the ashes. Over time, a group of Scientists discovered a way to enhance humans to be immune to the viruses as well as other ailments by using cybernetics. Thus, the Psykers were born.
>Massive underground cities like the Geofront from NGE, as well as above ground in abandoned cities.
>Each person is able to get certain cybernetic implants based on their genetics, people with better genetics are able to get better implants and wield them better as well.

I wrote this on the fly so sorry if it sounds retarded

>MC is some slum dog that gets caught up in the mess
>turns out to have the best genes
>they want to use him as a kickstarter for the rebellion

>turns out to have the best genes

Net terminal genes?

I feel like this is already a thing. Ninja scroll?

But that's like straight up world domination.

No novel/LN turn yet?

Taimanin Asagi probably

Somehow I get some Air Gear vibes.

manga
