The visual storytelling in this show is amazing all right.

I feel like this show is far better than it should be, but I can't put my finger on why that is. So far I'm loving it.

Well, she hasn't an Elektra complex. She is developing that affection actually for the person he is, not because he could resemble a father figure. This could be clearer later also in the anime.

Possibly. In my book a high schooler and a middle aged person developing romantic feelings have issues, both ways.

This is quality stuff, hopefully other shows will learn they can present their characters as sexual beings without it being silly ecchi shit, or as if they have concept of sex or sexuality.

This is a goddamn good show.

The music leading up to it was fantastic as well. I couldn't be happier with the anime so far.

It's probably the best show visuals-wise this season. Then again the director probably just cut out the manga panels and pasted them onto his storyboards as they do.
