Is K-ON!! truly the peak of Kyoto Animation?

Is K-ON!! truly the peak of Kyoto Animation?

why do you keep making this thread

Yes

sorry op, i didn't intend to be mean i just saw like three threads today that said "[show] is the pinnacle of kyoani"

No, Nichijou was. Everything after that has been Kyoani losing its way, pushing on over detailed animation but failing to give it genuine emotion.

>Ishihara
>Takemoto
>Yamada
Who has the biggest impact on kyoani legacy?

I have nothing to do with those threads. I've been at work all day.

they peaked with FMP Fumoffu

Yamada.

No, Violet Evergarden is.

Post more Yui!

my bad. i still think starting a thread like this leads to retarded slapfights, but i'm sorry anyway.

Obviously.

It is. Yui is a deep philosopher when you think about it

yes

Kyoto is screwed if it is

>No one has mentioned the true best kyoani show yet
the absolute state of Sup Forums right now

Haruhi would be the best without the E8 fuckup.

How the fuck did this bland, boring and very uninteresting crap become do damn praised?

Ishidate.

E8 is great though, the feeling of dread in the arc is unlike anything, and shows what the medium of animation/film can truly do.

...

Nichijou is on par with K-On. And everything went downhill from that point.

That was Nichijou

8 episodes was too much, if they were different art styles or the such it would be great, but as is it should have been 3 ep at best

Hyouka is.

I always forget that Nichijou was done by KyoAni. The style was so different from other KyoAni titles of the same era.

My favorite KyoAni title is probably FMP Fumoffu. When I think of the "stereotypical" KyoAni title, I would consider K-On or Haruhi as "peak." They had a good run from around 2005-2010.

Hyouka might have been the last anime of theirs that I thought was truly good.

my nig

No, this is the pinnacle of Kyoto Animation

Peak of animation OP. There can be only one.

>they peaked with their first big work
Really makes you think.

Yui is my inspiration as a guitarist. I'm not interested in fancy playing, just the fun of learning a new technique

Their peak is either Hyouka or Nichijou.
Hard to say which honestly. But it's one of those two, and by a large margin compared to anything else.

Nichijou is more ambitious so I'll give it that.

>best rip of the first season's subs fucks up this line
why

Fucking thank you, no idea why people are mentioning such irrelevant shit like Hyouka or Nichijou when Haruhi exists.

...

How can 1 girl be so best

This has to be bait. You can't seriously believe that showing the same episode 8 times shows the power of animation.

It's very self-indulgent but the way the shots are framed and the palette choices help drive the feeling of despair home, with all the characters stuck running circles. People always bring up how the novel only goes through the day once, but it's not something that would even really be able to work in a written medium. That being said it most certainly didn't need to be eight episodes long, four would've sufficed but I personally enjoyed the arc.
