Cant say nice things. He existed for literally just max 40 chapters (in which he maybe appeared all in all for maybe 20 to 25 ch). And not good ones like in Kimetsu. Bad ones like in FT.

I like how everyone has a drawback to their power, even if it doesn't come up often. Todoroki can overheat himself or freeze himself if he uses one part too much, Bakugo needs to sweat and comes less efficient when it's cold outside, Momo loses her oppai if she makes too much.

I was wondering why there wasn't Tokoyami instead.

He only saved Tokoyami and almost saved Bakygou in that volume. Except it’s weird how instead of putting Shouji or Tokoyami on the spine since they had a way bigger moment, Aoyama is put there instead and Shouji got a volume spine where he doesn’t even appear in it once.
Also it’s very suspicious that unlike the other spine characters, Aoyama isn’t looking front and center at the viewer and is also not smiling. Looks suspish as hell but I personally think it’s a red herring.
