I'm french and I don't care.

France and Belgium has a healthy comic industry as Japan so yeah, why not.

I would not be surprised if Satelight is animating this

I'll give a shit when we have a studio and PV.

France and Japan have made some good collabs in the past so why not.
I'll take it over burger cape adaptations.

>that muslim/arab designs
>French
Checks out.

It looks like a Zelda game

Looks more interesting than the super heroes ones we keep getting. In before it gets the ladybug (whatever that series was called) treatment

>not adapting the one god-tier French manga
What a waste of an anime

The manga's really good, I recommend it

Which is ?

forgot pic, what a waste of a post too

>god-tier French manga
Title? I haven't been keeping in touch with France lately.

So now we can discus Mobius and Ladybug and any stupid French thing on Sup Forums?

I think Dreamland's graphic style might play against it ? Radiant looks more japanese, so that might explained why it was well received. At least Dreamland fans have some merch ?

>never forget the fucking chopsticks

dreamland isnt out in japan
radiant on the contrary did get licensed in japan and it worked (the frist volume was sold out(thanks murata for the promotion))

It's not the first time some weeb getting his shit being animated.
Don't see any problem, only more hope for some weebs getting their fantasies of making into animay.

Looks good. If frogs can make better shit than 'My Little Sister's Panties landed in my laundry and now I can't stop wearing them' or yet another self insert isekai, then let the frogs write the animu now.

Yeah which sucks cause I think Reno's art is amazing, especially in all the little details he sneaks in the backgrounds of almost every panel
It probably doesnt help either that half the story takes place in modern France, with all the promiscuity, diversity and cannabis abuse it entails, which wouldn't sit well with the Nips

Don't forget Wakfu !

Wish they did an anime of Freaks's Squeele too, but a Radiant anime seems good enough. I wonder which studio will animate it.
Maybe the same one will also work on Princesse Dragon since it'll be coproduced with a japanese studio too.

Why are French such big weebs?

>French
>A lot of gypsie, sandnigger background

kek

It's our one way ticket to midnight.

>kek
back to Sup Forums newfriend

Never heard of this. Looks like an awfully boring shonen merde. Peu importe.

Better french artist would deserve anime adaptation. Not sure for manga french artiste tho.

"I'am happy for the autor that his work found a new public and wish this project a fair success."

dumping some pics

>hurrdurr muh isekai self insert
Ebin buzzwords, now why don't you fuck off to Sup Forums to your local intellectuals who only watch mature animays for mature people such as yourself?

>Le Sup Forums boogieman

Go back to MAL amigo

...

S E E T H I N G

Kill yourself retard

>I only watch intellectual and mature anime like me

*Tips Fedora*

...

Oh, thanks for proving me right.

...

Sounds like you got triggered because you watch that kind of garbage, faggot

...

Warning! Sup Forums is behind you. Run! Run from boggieman!

I do watch anime, yes, unlike you.
Aslo, generic shounen esque weeb shit that ultimately is a mix of every major mainstream stuff ever known for this guy, is hardly better than some isekai stuff.

>you don't watch anime if you don't watch all the garbage
wew

Pop Team Epic already took care of this

Yes, because you only watching exeptional garbage for special snowflakes, believing he's a superior to anyone despite he don't know shit about what he's talking about.
What a surprpise.

>unironically defending isekai garbage

>look mom do i fit in

This

I really dig the artstlye of this, would like to see more.

>getting this mad
Are you in love with an isekai or something?

>My Little Sister's Panties landed in my laundry and now I can't stop wearing them
I'd watch that

It's either French or manga.

How do you discuss anime without Moebius!?

Either way, the thread is because it's getting an anime

>lol u mad
Any more le epic responds? shitposter-kun?

>watch garbage or you don't watch anime hurr
what a fucking retard

yeah he mad

>shitposts to death
>calls someone else shitposter
you're a special kind of retard, I'll give you that

As a french dude,I don't even know this,and frankly don't give a fuck.

I'd however pay for a Freak's Squeele anime adaptation.

Yes, Imagine for a second you need to watch shit before talking shit, otherwise you might as well just stop talking and don't go to Sup Forums because all we do is talking about garbage and not your entry level stuff for normalfags.

>half the thread is shitslinging
It's time to fucking stop.

>giving another NO U response
Yes, you are not shitposter, of course.

>mfw all this salt and shitposting

C'mon, at least if Radiant does well it might spark interest in Dreamland and Freaks Squeele !

>French manga
That's an oxymoron.
If you really want to you could call it BD (bédé) instead.

Those are some cute little horns.

They started working on one, back in 2009. Seems like it went nowhere, unfortunately.

Well, I read the first few chapters of this now. Very shounen, somewhere in the middle of the genericity scale. BnHA level maybe.

>we only like garbage on Sup Forums
nice meme, maybe you should fuck off.

The beginning's kinda meh, but it picks up after the first volume

Honestly, looks like shit.

You can call it a manga-style French comic, but it's less convenient.

Why would NHK fund a fucking anime of a French comic when there are so many good manga they can adapt from Japan. Fucking retards.

Japan's dying, they need to expand to other countries.

Because the French comic has been successfully published in Japan

That does make sense. And NHK did the Reflection with Stan Lee so I guess they're open up to some creative ideas. How successful is it in Japan? I've never seen it rank in sales charts.

Haven't seen any numbers but I guess I'll go digging to see if I can find some. All I know is that the first tome sold out

They should have adapted Requiem too.

Looks good.

That ain't Radiant

>frogs take over the manga and anime industry
>GuP is renamed Filles et Chars and all thr German girls are slaughtered
>Karen gets trucked and reborn as a pig
>Code Geass R3 is an alternate history where Britannia was BTFO by the EU
I would like that.

>acting surprised that people defend isekai
>Sup Forums reaction image
Sasuga crossboarders. It may shock you, but here on Sup Forums most isekai anime have had pretty decent reception.

French guy here.
Don't know about that "manga" but if the story or art is good, that's cool I guess.

It probably doesn't even need to be all that successful in Japan because they'll have a guaranteed interested foreign market, which many manga adaptations can't count on.

We frogs aren't really that flag-waving.

Japan has done plenty of adaptation of French tales and comics, it's nothing new.

I know but as a French guy I would find that fun.

I don't think they've ever adapted a French comic that was manga style though.

Wasn't Oban Star Racers some sort of French co-production or something too? It's not like this is groundbreaking territory

>this lengthy bunfight over isekai in a thread about a story that isn't isekai at all

"Isekai' is becoming the new "moeshit." It's just the generic complaint people who don't like anime fling at it.

There's quite a few Franco/Japanese collabs on anime, but I think they were all original work (Ladybug, Oban Star Racers, Ulysses 31, etc) but I think the novelty here is that it's a French manga-like comic that is also being published in Japan ?

Do the japanese differentiate between manga and comics? Or is it like anime and everything is manga to them?

Well, when you describe it as a novelty I can understand the sentiment.

Like they need more chuu2 bullshit.

They'll call foreign comics foreign. Usually only mangaka and hardcore comics otaku will be into them, though. Regular westaboos don't care about that nerd shit.

Well yeah, I mean what's the term they use? Will they refer to it as "foreign manga (gaijin manga?)", or do they have a separate word for it like here?

The french are some of the most self-loathing individuals I have ever seen.

t. frog

Feel strong wan pisu vibe.

The MC seems to be a bit more on the ball than the standard ignorant shonen protagonist. Must be the European style of buffoonery.

Is it finally time for gaijin to make it big in Japan?

ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/フランスにおける日本の漫画

Basically "French Japanese manga". As to separate out normal manga and manga which aims to emulate Japanese stuff.

I see. That sounds like it'd be awkward but I guess you could say that about their entire language so whatever.
Thanks mate.
