Will she be the first wife?

It's so hopeless for her it's almost heartbreaking. Almost. She deserves better.

So does Liza.

bar wench is first wife, obviously

>So does Liza.
This guy is at least 100% correct.

these are the cutest things ever

Someone needs to break through Satou's defenses eventually. Liza and others are waiting.

>OP MC killed dragon god or whatever
>still gets trapped in a mob's teleportation trap
i mean i read the manga and the development with demihuman party is cool, but seeing it again im reminded of how stupid it was

This one?

... or this one?

Early on he didn't have as much knowledge or skills. If the same happened now he would just leave instantly.

Apparently not young or old enough, stuck in the middle.

fat butt

At this point satou has no idea what his power is
Has he even realized that he killed a dragon god yet?

> dick shoulders

>Has he even realized that he killed a dragon god yet?
Depends on which continuity. In the LN, he certainly did read that log message. He didn't think about the title he got for doing so until the end of the labyrinth boss fight.

I prefer the manga/LN designs, but there is so little else to use.

One of the few Isekai I had to stop reading
Literally the exact same wish fulfillment every single chapter
They take it to a new level.

Death march is objectively shit tier

well, pretty much every isekai/tensei is the same type of wish fulfillment / guilty pleasure. I read it for the whole redoing life with advantages thing, like "if i knew back then what i knew now", i would be a multimillionare with bitcoin and weed stocks.. Now all I'll be able to do is hopefully double my money within half a year getting into weed stocks this late

Local waifu. First waifu would be either Ancient kouhai Yamato or Sistina because muh Sup Forumstarded shit.

At this point, I'll take whatever it takes to make Satou accept the rest.

Local waifu ought to be moving to the Labyrinth town by the end of the anime.

>Local waifu.
She's a good girl.

Isekai Smartphone is so much more fun and enjoyable to watch.

She really was the best part of that show.

But will she be before Arisa?

She's got a 6-year head start on qualifying for the D.

Arisa is older, and Satou has little interest in either right now.

He can't look past her body. The man likes tits.

Even a 130-year-old Elf can't get out of the daughter-zone.

I'm a bit surprised she hasn't tried to find some sort of aging magic. The reverse has been mentioned. Satou would still likely do no more than he does to Nana though.

I bet there's a loli goddess who allows de-aging magic but not the reverse.

And she is the one waiting for Satou to become a god. I expect the others will ultimately benefit from the same as Arisa though and become familiars as well, and that stops their aging as well leaving Arisa always flat.

> promised goddess is flat

that's her night hood

I dont fucking get it bros.

Every time this thread gets posted no one recommends to watch it. Anons say its nothing special. But threads are up and Sup Forums cant stop talking about it. Now im thinking of all the times i listen to Sup Forums about not watching particular popular shows but now im thinking i missed out. They were actually good, but Sup Forums must remain contrarian

If its posted alot, it must be worth watching

Trusting Sup Forums for anything is difficult, even without considering personal preferences and tolerances for parts that are lower quality.

>If its posted alot, it must be worth watching
Sup Forums talks about things that are notable.

Notably good, notably bad, notably hilarious, notably trollable.

This show isn't anything special, but 3 episodes are out, so give it a try. You shouldn't expect much, but who knows, you might enjoy this trash.

But thats adding to my confusion. Here you are in a thread and your reccommending trying the anime. Howerver the next sentence you say its trash. Then you post a somewhat original picture that might be saved in a folder dedicated to this show which means it holds interest to you. Why have passion for something of no value? Why participate in a thread of something terrible? Is a show being entertaining inherently bad if the critics determine it being "trash" or "childish" or "cliche". I just want a straight answer! Cant something just be good if all the above is true?

I just like how they actually have to chant the spells.

>passion
>value
Look, you've got that starry-eyed enthusiasm thing going on, and that's probably great for you, but don't expect ANYTHING you find here to provide "value", nor to be the result of "passion".

We're here to waste time in a mildly enjoyable way.

Don't expect more than that from anime, and ABSOLUTELY don't expect more than that from Sup Forums.

The dual-language trigger word thing is actually somewhat original. I wonder where that idea was stolen from.

Makes the magic actually feel like magic.

Too bad MC is going to take a dump all over it and just scream "FIRE BALL".

...

...

He won't get his chant orb in the anime, so that limits him slightly. It's not like Meteor Shower can be used inside a city.

When does he get his first scroll? He probably won't be using any magic at all because of that.

I don't remember the first scroll, but I think he had some spells early enough. There is a page on wikia that has a list of abilities Satou has and when he gained them. I don't know how much it differs from the LN though.

>When does he get his first scroll?
In the LN, it's in the first labyrinth.

That means probably episode 4.

Lulu will never become a sniper in the anime.

I'm enjoying this show for the relaxed slice of life take on isekai but it needs to go lewder, something smartphone did very right

It has an opportunity for a bit of it, but I expect it to be cut or greatly reduced unfortunately.

They shouldn't have cut this.

>They shouldn't have cut this.

I foresee that being the anime's mantra and epithet.

I wasn't expecting much from the anime with how short it was, but I was at least hoping for a few scenes like that to get animated. Even some bathing scenes get only a single panel in the manga.

Is that Selesia from Re: Creators?

...

...

What's so "death march" about it? Is he fated to die in march or what?

deathma-anime.com/story/detail.php?id=1000346

Sounds like we're leaving the dungeon this episode. Or ending around when he puts on the mask.

First half of ep 1.

Something related to overwork and programming and apparently a real project management concept, but is literally not relevant to the show except how he got isekai'd.

First official members of the harem will be Arisa and Lulu. Zina joins late. Or do you mean like "first wife" like Yumina in Smartphone? Satou only has eyes for Aze.

What a cute dungeon party

Best place to end it for dramatic purposes would be when he falls down that pit taking the undead beast with him gandalf style, then puts on the disguise before coming back up to fight the demon.

Me in the middle

The anime is more of a walking simulator really, to borrow another phrase from (game) programming.

Is Liza a Freddie's daughter or something?

yes,but not first sex

those are scales, she's a lizard-girl

It sure doesn't look like that

I keep saying it's AOTY, user. Are you blind?

even her name was "lizard"

This isn't cellphone.

Is it just me or are Isekai series getting even more bland and generic as the years go by?

Because it feels like the genre has somehow become even more stale and unimaginative than it was a few years ago (and I didn't think that was possible).

Obviously when the source material is popular enough, there will be interest even if the anime adaptaion is shit like say Dies Irae. Death March isn't that bad but it could have been better. if it had gotten a proper adaptaion like something like Re:Zero, it would have been way more popular since the novel is one of the first isekai to be massively popular and it's one of the best too.

Or second, or third.
Her anime design is worse than it should be.

Cute

I wonder if Satou will ever fail any of the trials due to making stuff up instead of actually using the artifacts.

I am guessing the gods don't care about the artifacts being used, as long as the people think the power of the god saved them and the people worship them more as a result. Based on descriptions of the remaining gods, I doubt any will be focused on combat as a requirement:
>God Urion of [Trial and Judgment].
>God Karion of [Wisdom].
>God Zaikuon of [Passion and Change].
>God Parion of [Infant and Righteousness].
Some of those may have artifacts that are more difficult to fake the effects. Having him fail seems unlikely, but his options are limited if he does fail.

Next time should be something interesting since Satou did pretty much the same thing two times in a row and repeating it one more time would be boring

Which of the gods is responsible for his curse of only having a loli harem?

>>God Urion of [Trial and Judgment].
The trial of the god of trials should be, like, trial squared. As in legitimately difficult even for a cheater.

It should be none of them, Ama-no-Mizuhana-hime is the one named in the chapter that mentions a curse. Both AkonKagura and Ama-no-Mizuhana-hime are dragon gods, but it's not know if they are the just different names for the same one, or if the one of the creator god or demon god is related to Ama-no-Mizuhana-hime.

Guess I have to actually go read the WN, huh.

>>God Zaikuon of [Passion and Change].
This is the guy who's been said to be a battle junkie or something, and challenged the Dragon God (which got him killed).
It could very well be some kind of battle.

I just don't know how without being basically a repeat of the first two in a different setting.

>(which got him killed)
Wait, if he got killed did that turn him into a god? Or does that mean gods can be killed but still remain gods somehow?

Asking for a friend who totally isn't a dead dragon god or anything.

Meteor shower is not something you should use inside a city.

Gods just revive after a while

From one of the references:
>"Umu, they can. However, it's just dying. If you leave them alone they will get revived. Since gods are undying."
>"Well, they do die physically. Once they die, gods become spirit bodies, they prepare their own soul, make new body, and complete the revival. Although if it's high-ranking gods, then they don't need go through such annoying procedure. Even if they die, they would get instantly revived since they're universally recognized in the world."
Unless you don't care about the city either.

If you think Dethmarch is bland and generic then the isekais coming after stuff like that, shieldbro, arifureta and others will probably have you avoid it like the plague.

>Gods just revive after a while
>Even if they die, they would get instantly revived

That kinda takes the edge off the first episode god-murder shower.

I mean at that point, why bother setting it up?

Did whoever summoned Satoo even have a plan?

I don't think the goal was killing the dragon god, but pushing Satou closer to becoming a god.

...

>unless you dont care about the city either
You got a point there

...

Comfy isekai thread is comfy. I like this

Nano desu.

How is nanodesu going to be localized

It still puts the god out of commission. Zaicoun, despite being a well known god throughout the world, has been dead for about a decade, and only eventually comes back because the other gods revive him due to reasons.
The Dragon god too, hasn't quite revived in a while, and it seems when they do revive they'll go asking Satou for a proper rematch.

That "instantly revive" line was from the perspective of someone who's supposedly a god herself, so her perspective of time would be pretty skewed.
