For all the shit GT gets, I do like the fact that gave closure to the series as whole. Characters are finally allowed to move on in one way or another and let's Goku go with a bang, with the whole story about Goku Jr being a perfect way to bring everything full circle.
GT was pretty shit but it was better than Super. SS4 is also better than SSG/SSB for fucking sure, eyeliner is retarded but the idea of combining SS with Oozaru is a great idea and fits more with the whole thing about Goku being Sun Wukong. Remove the eyeliner and make the fur any colour but pink and it'd be a pretty good transformation, better than SS3/SSG/SSB for sure. Biggest issue with GT was that so much time is spent with kid Goku, nobody wants that shit, as well as a few more retarded things here and there (middle age crisis 'stache Vegeta, it being Goku Time, Freeza and Cell hell part, and a few more).
Sure as shit better than Super, although that does not mean much.

We still didn't see anyone from the other universes that weren't going to be erased, as they weren't as weak as the other universes.
The ending of Gt was the worst part of an already bad series. It had the best idea for a final boss by in the Shadow dragons but they botched worse than anything has been botched in the entire franchise, and considering this is fucking Dragon Ball that is saying a lot. Not to mention that dumb shit about Goku going off with Shenron. I kinda wish we had a whole series just about Goku Jr in the far future though. A full reset of the series is iway more interesting to me than any sort of direct sequel like Super or GT.

The funny thing is people think it's worth it to compare Super to GT.
They're both effectively the result of Toei not knowing at all how to tell a story in Dragon Ball, with minimal involvement from Akira Toriyama.
They've both had overall shit animation, with a cool transformation or idea here and there. They both fuck up the power scalling irreparably. They're equally shit.
Toei needs to back the fuck off of Dragon Ball and learn to stick to movies and filler. It's the only things they're good at.
The end game of Super is Uub fuses with Majin Buu and kills Goku who becomes a power hungry god bent of fighting anything that fucking moves.
