Live Action adaptations

Pic related was far better than the movie and the anime and Midnight Diner is a pretty comfy show.

Will Netflix save the LA adaptations?

Samurai Gourmet is actually the best live action adaption.

No, live actions are just cheap cashgrabs and should be purged.

does it change the horrible ending at least?

>tfw no Jinchuu adaptation

It's a faithful adaptation of the source material, but it doesn't feel like NTR in this one. If you want to watch Satoru literally dissapearing from the timeline, watch the movie, however, it's a crappy adaptation

Reminder that the only people who thought it was shit and NTR are kissless virgins who would rather fuck some girl than save their own mother
Sup Forums truly is a pathetic place

on topic, the Devilman live action is shit

>the virgin NEETs of Sup Forums are still SEETHING about this ending

>faithful adaptation
>some scenes were reworked
not a faithful adaptation, but at least is better than the movie

fuck off, shill

>Live action cuckshit
No thank you

its so bad, but I still wait for subs

Japs are shit at acting

are you sure its not zetman live action? because its looks like zetman than debiruman

Where were you when tokusatsu, waifuism, and LA anime was saved?

yeah, there are some changes in the netflix adaptation

>Killer baiting Satoru to chase him so the neighbors can see him.
>Killer sedating Satoru when he was in the car (seatbelt scene happens but he couldn't escape because he was drugged).
>Satoru holding a home made teaser instead of a knife
>Cute Hinamori

I've yet to see a halfway decent love action
That said, I really want the saiki kusuo one to be subbed. Cheesy live action acting works best with comedy series.

VHS ?
In 2018 ?

Gintama LA was good
Netflix Erased was decent (best adaptation so far)
Rurouni Kenshin was good but the last fight was shit.
Cromartie was decent
Don't know shit about Midnight Diner

underrated

>cute hinamori

How's the Mob Psycho adaptation?

Anyone seen Netflix Blazing Transfer Student? Same author of Blue Blazes, which had a live action version of it and was enjoyable.

If Hollywood at this age can create a scene with only 1970's muscle cars for some "low budget" historic comedy film then Japan can easily create a scene with a Sony VHS player.

...

> blue blazes
Picked the fuck up

Don't pick it up, it's not good.

While it is based on a manga by the same author, the live action isn't made by the same writer and director of Blue Blazes and it's nothing alike. Plus the main cast is a bunch of unfunny Johnny shits. Wouldn't recommend it unless you're one a diehard Johnny fan.

Forgot to add - if you liked Blue Blazes, try Nietzsche-sensei, Gintama or Hentai Kamen, those are by the same writer/director.

I don't think it's bad, though it kinda throws the horror, if you can call them like that, elements away in favour of comedy.

This is unironically the best Jap Live Action bar none.

HK 2 is bad thou... HK 1 was better
