Rip watching anime I guess.

Where's Kyoani?

>No Kyoani

I guess Evergarden really failed

Basd fucking Netflix

Shekels for BONES?
Always nice.

anime is saved

for real this time

So, Darker than Black Season 3 soon?
I'd say the west gives more of a shit than the nips do at this point.

B anime is the very first original anime project by IG & Netflix. Not surprising if IG got the deal.

Also, IG has the best link/western negotiator compared to the rest of Nip studios.
Proven by FLCL 2 & 3 deal with Adult Swim & Ballroom e Yokosou deal with Amazon.

This is good as far as production values goes. However,I expect netflix to push their agenda into the animes and will only finance the shows if they fulfill their agenda

>more reddit shows from reddit studios
Only way this will work out is if IG stops fucking around and makes SAC 3rd gig

Here are the official press releases from WIT, I.G

Amazing how Netflix decided to work with the 3 anime studios that are the best right now. I expect good things to come out of this. Shinichiro Watanabe said he was working on an original project with Bones about music, so it might be for Netflix.

Tentatively excited to see what they'll produce, Devilman Crybaby was refreshing.

I'm also worried about the agenda pushing part. But at the same time, I don't think it can be any worse than it is right now, original anime at present day are dying and most of the original anime that come out are fucking dog shit. I expect us to get some actual good creative originals out of this at least.

season 2 killed it

The best at what? Half their catalog is full of trash that isn't even worth watching.

this is why we must torrent all netflix shows

Best from production point of view. The majority of their shows look far better than your average anime

>WIT
>best at anything

>half

pretty good record desu

>best from production point of view
So they blew a huge amount of money on trash. Fascinating.

Netflix funded Devilman Crybaby and I've seen no agenda pushing there.

You can push this meme however much you want, but WIT are currently one of the best animation studios out there.

>Half their catalog is full of trash
That's normal. Even Sunrise & Kyoani are the same.

You're really cool and smart senpai

I mean original anime. The storyboard will have netflix directors.

>funded
Nigga. They weren't even in the pc.

Definitely not WIT. And Bones has become Hero Academia studio and most of the episodes are literally flapping mouths until some important battle happens and gets filled with yutapon cubes. Ballroom wasn't anything out of the ordinary either.

Except for all the gay shit, you know, the butt fucking sex scene which was not in the original manga, the social commentary regarding the thugs being wrongly accused by the police for doing something wrong which also wasn't in the manga, but that might've just been Yuasa being a retard.

If this is the only way for koi wa amaagari no you ni to get a second season, then so be it.

They gave a huge amount of money to production committee for exclusivity.

What agenda are you even talking about?

>Netflix won't fund CDGCT studios like Dogakobo, Silverlink, etc.
My sides.

Because you say so? Sure.

Name better studios than Bones, I.G and Wit, faggot, I'll be waiting. I know you're trying to push that Ballroom and Bnha have bad adaptations, but the majority will disagree with you and they can see how greatly adapted they are.

>However,I expect netflix to push their agenda into the animes and will only finance the shows if they fulfill their agenda
I really hope that isn't the case. They just got their foot into the door, I can't imagine them having huge leverage unless they're funding over half of the budget. The bottom line for these anime production committees are to make slow returns from BD sales/merch over time. How big is Netflix in Japan?

If we go by production values alone then Kyoani trumps all 3 of them.

3Hz.
Now fuck off.

Oh my god can you imagine all the bullshit "GIRL POWER" nonsense they'd do with the Major? At least before it was because we knew she was a badass and was unmotivated by an agenda. Now everything will just seem suspicious.

If we're talking about production, Kyoani

Thats like saying "I sure hope hollywood doesn't push their agenda" which is batshit insane.
You wont find any theme unique to anime on netflix shows, they're cartoons suitable for mainstream american consumers.

Promoting homosexuality,multiculturalism,feminism,etc.

I'm not saying they're wrong, especially homosexuality,I'm fine with it,the problem is when they put this ideals before the actual design of the show.If the show was created to input this themes from the get-go or not...

Good meme and a bad joke.
It depends what you're looking for, but I wouldn't call them better. They are really good at having good productions all around. They got left out by Netflix though.

TRANSLATION FOR NON-WEEBS?

"Anime is saved"

Have you even seen their catalog of shows?
It's not entirely consisting of clones of dear white people, you know.

How is IG impressive in any way by production values?

You must be blind then.

>MUH AGENDA
Every thead

We need to wait to see what happens first, that would be a good idea. If the next 2 original Netflix shows, B:The beggining and AIco incarnation have agenda, then it's clear that Netflix are a bunch of niggers.

Impressing how WIT went from being mocked for their disastrous productions to one of the best studios. They really got their shit together.

Good choices. Those studios are the ones that are worth anyone's time. Unlike somebody who's chasing something as useless as the Oscars.

Bones are pretty great when it comes to their flagship projects, but given their size they have made plenty of shows with average or below production values.

Production I.G. has really shrunk in size over the past 5 years or so and their TV anime quality really depends on the staff involved. They have connections with some of the best specialists in realistic animation though.

WIT Studio have talented people too, but their work culture is fucked up thanks the their producer. There has never been a single project from them with a decent production schedule, they just throw animators at the episodes to get them done.

All the haters can go kill themselves, they'll be swimming in Netflix money and will have extra safety in this unstable anime industry.

Only one good show so far, nope

ikr?

> >MUH AGENDA
You don't belong here

Their shows still run a tight schedule though, they just haven't gone to Rolling Girls or Titans S1 levels lately. Something with as little animation as Magus Bride has loads of animation supervisors.

Neflix is a business that wants to make money first and foremost. They are going to produce stuff that is likely to make them money with their global audience.

They have redeemed themselves with Mahoutsukai no yome and Koi wa ameagari

Hero Academia in Netflix worldwide? I want to believe

No you

Maybe they rejected Netflix? I don't see Kyoani tying themselves in a 'business alliance' with anyone, they do stuff at their own pace and are their own bosses, something they spent years trying to achieve.

When did that happen? We still make fun of them all the time.

Sorry if I don't want Sup Forums to turn into Sup Forums

So, everything Sup Forums audience doesn't want.
Get ready for a 2016 election esque surge of new visitors on this board when netflix brings ""anime"" to mainstream america.

Don't you mean reddit?

What agendas are you even worrying about?
Anything you may think they want to push probably already exists in anime
At least it won't damper creativity the way otaku-pandering shit does

They share userbase, if reddit gets more users so does Sup Forums.

Who knows, I'm sure if they get the right offer for a project or two they'll collaborate and if not they'll continue to do their own thing and possibly adapt a manga from a different publisher every now and then.

WIT actually joined an alliance with the founder of the Geno studio and the dude that was the main producer for Noitamina for a while, an alliance that values good schedules and not fucking over the animators.

Netflix has time and money to invest into making shitty anime with their agendas but can't even retain the licenses for House M.D. Fucking hacks.

>everything Sup Forums doesn't want
Speak for yourself. I enjoyed both stuff like Kuromukuro and Ajin. Even ID-0 was fun.

What do you mean by otaku-pandering?

>Netflix, Production IG, and bones make a business partnership to co-produce anime
I never though I'd say this one day but thanks Netflix.
CEOs of bones and I.G. already mentioned in the interview that they'll produce high quality contents that can be appreciated by everyone regardless of language or cultural barriers. So I'd expect Netflix to not make otaku-pandering anime and that's fine by me, as there will always be japanese producers to make them anyway.

This kind of stuff. This was not in the source material. You will never see anime about two guys straight up fucking in regular anime and since this was an original addition, it makes you wonder if they'll try to pull these kinds of things off with their upcoming projects as well. Hopefully that isn't the case, we'll find out in March with Aico incarnation and B the beggining.

>by production values alone then Kyoani
Kyoani release AN anime mostly once in a half year (only this year they're making shitload of anime).
Also they're in fucking Kyoto.

stuff like tenshi 3p prob

>only IG & WIT
why are they left XEBEC alone?

Maybe it's just the japanese directors thinking:''Pfft,I can do a Tarantino' as well

What's your point?

Because no one gives a fuck about Fafner or Yamato or FMP.

It might've been Yuasa, you are right, he's not your typical director.

Because they are shit and a sin. They only put effort into their mecha shit.

>You will never see anime about two guys straight up fucking in regular anime
There's anime with two guys(or more) straight up kissing and the message of the anime being it's ok to be homo.

...

Oh please not this garbage

An anime made with japanese animators and western writers would be a good thing.
Hopefully not with unnecessary agenda.

>3 anime studios that are the best right now

Wit are good

bones are meh

I.G are a fucking cancer

Oh fuck off Netflix.
Several more shows without simulcasting.

Yes because Adventure time and steven universe are well written

Name better studios faggot, I'll wait.

youtube.com/watch?v=FMxaCRLuRlQ
What agenda is being pushed here?

Fuck off nigger, subs will come and we'll get some creative original anime out of it. The state of original anime has been abysmal lately.

>So I'd expect Netflix to not make otaku-pandering anime

The first Bones x Netflix anime features a Japanese schoolgirl with character designs by a popular hentai artist. That's already more "otaku-pandering" than your average Bones anime.

Not that I mind at all, just shattering your illusion.

>You will never see anime about two guys straight up fucking in regular anime
>About
>Its a 5 seconds scene
You will never see anime about a hetero couple straight up fucking in regular anime too btw
Just because there is homo stuff in it doesnt mean there is an agenda behind it, lets not be stupid and end up like Sup Forums and Sup Forums

But their mecha shit is good.

Kyoani hates being a corporate slave. Remember how they went independent after the whole Haruhi mess with Kadokawa. and they might've seen 'partnering' with Netflix as the same thing.

Which is a shame because with Netflix's connections Kyoani might finally got their hands on a decent writer. Imagine if Yuasa and Kyoani collaborates.

That reminds me, has anyone seen their godzilla anime? Is it any good?

Kill yourself. Netflix subs are trash AND they take months to come out.
I'm not going to watch my anime on Netflix.

Typical Polygon shit.
Nice setup for francise though.

You're ignoring the part where that was not a part of the original manga or source material. That was original shit added in. Kill yourself.
