>overseas money are keep increasing
>streaming got a nice bump
>disks are dying
Seriously, streaming is going to overtake BDs in 2-3 years.

According to the chart discs were never big in the first place, yet series that get more seasons tend to be the ones that sell a lot of BDs.

>yet series that get more seasons tend to be the ones that sell a lot of BDs.
Just an indicator of how popular a series is. More people buying BDs means more people buying merchandise too. Saturday morning shounens are the only ones that deviate from this, which rely on ratings alone.

They are big for late night anime. Obviously such monsters like Precure, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Gundam etc don't care about them.

Live Entertainment is stuff like stage plays right?

Also seyuu events and such.

Makes sense. If the fanbase is dedicated enough to buy outdated media storage they will probably buy your funko pops.

How much of that is padded by WSJ series and morning cartoons?

>2,000, 4,000, 6,000
millions, yeah?

how much is the usual anime budget anyways?

They're most of it. Stuff like Precure, One Piece, and Anpanman is where the money is.

兆 is 10^12
億 is 10^8

1 cour anime costs around $2-4kk$

Anyone got an english translated version?

More like Sup Forums

My understanding was that the death of the market as a whole was never a worry, but rather that the number and volume of shows and studios was unsustainable. The pie was being cut too many ways and thus contraction was inevitable.

the only difference is overseas profits.

"Sup Forums" never said this because one, thousands upon thousands of people post on this board all of whom have different perspectives and opinions and secondly, that was just shounenbabbies and toonamists who've seen 5 shows

>Sup Forums
literally who said this
