Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to take avatars resembling a setting associated with mainstray Gundam? This seems like a really contrived way to get Isekai points and doesn't really reflect the franchise well.

You know what was wrong with Try? Not enough characters to cram into a single series thanks to the 3vs3 format. We need even LESS time to establish and develop opponent teams.

I wouldn't say it's as terrible as everyon says, but it is really generic compared to the first one. Pseudo-harem, no parallel world stuff, no gunpla mafia or other crazy shit, just a regional tournament instead of Worldwide, almost no references to older Gundam shows.
