It's completely out of place, goes against all established rules of the grail war (why the fuck are they fighting in the middle of traffic? in particular, why is ASSASSIN doing it?), and ruins the entire point of the scene (what was supposed to be Lancer getting ambushed at the temple while scouting turned into a ridiculous chase starting at the other side of town) just so there can be a flashy action scene. Those 10 minutes before they got to the temple could easily have been spent on the actual plot.

A similar fight scene drawn fully by hand that can come close to matching that in quality will cost as much as an entire cour. The grail war was never that fucking subtle. HF 1 still managed to make Lancer's death unsettling as fuck.
