>The state of Yugioh threads

Why are all the good abridges dead?

Yugi, did you delete all my dragon porn? I swear, I let you use my laptop for one second...

Because there was only ever one, and he moved on

I can hear it.

Which one? Also I forgot about SAO abridged, that’s still going on and good.

"I'll fuck you Akira, even if I have to end the world!"

Yugioh, obviously. Everyone else was just trying to copy his format, and simply weren't as funny. Hell, he made some Naruto abridged once as a throwaway, and it had more funny jokes than everything the actual Naruto abridged had combined. Littlekuriboh remains the only person to have grasped the format, somehow

I liked Dub Piece but I haven't been able to find any of the episodes in like the last 6+ years to rewatch them.

I wish yugioh could have just been yami playing a fucked up variety of games with bad guys and sending them to the shadow realm but it wouldn't have survived and blown up into a franchise like it did. the dungeon dice monsters arc was actually interesting after nonstop cardgames

imagine a show, without yugi. and it was only kaiba
it would be gods gift to humanity

Do you really think Kaiba would allow this show to be about other games?

It's also the only thing he's ever done. His whole legacy centers around mediocre plagarism.

This. The early volumes of the manga were better than the "CARD GAMES ALL DAY, EVERY DAY" stuff.

I think Yugioh abridged started to die when Maria was introduced. The gay shit kept being pushed more and more after that.

...

Is this even possible?

CHILLING OUT WITH THE CREW IN THE SCHOOL YARD

Honestly the manga is better than the anime just overall. I'm not usually that concerned with reading the source material but YuGiOh is one series where I strongly urge people to read the manga.

Eh, I don't think so. In a lot of the early chapters games pretty much ended with "fuck you, I win". DM/M&W had that too, of course, but at least it ended up having some sort of strategy eventually.

Looking at LittleKuriboh. He's probably lucky its his legacy. He's not remarkable in any other way beside it.

...

I liked it when Yugi just went around killing people.

slice of life with ancient ghost battles>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>children's card games

>yugi is actually an abject pervert in the manga whereas he's your typical limpwristed softheart in the anime

*Marik

That's pretty much a result of the manga toning it down itself though.

>Valuable card

I liked the chapter where yugi played a game with a gambler(?) where you put a stack of money on your hand and had to stab it with a knife to get as much money as you can without stabbing yourself

probably aged like shit since I haven't read it in over 10 years but that chapter stuck with me for a while

Hey, for all we know it might actually be a super rare card in universe.

DSoD was basically the Kaiba Show.

...

Has Kaiba's autism gone to far?

Did he kill that pilot?

...

DURO

MONSTA KADO

>intentionally killing that pilot just for the sake of showing off
Kaiba is a fucking madman

>Kaiba is a fucking madman

This is Rebecca. She's sad because she's a non canon character. Please cheer her up.

She doesn't have much to worry about, since a good 50% of the anime isn't canon anyway.

Kaiba had the high score in all the local arcades and built the Death-T. He knew how to play and make more things than card games.

God, she had such a shitty character design.
