s2 when?
Barakamon
There was a spin off about sensei in high school. It was shit.
There was a spin off about sensei in high school. It was great.
The spin off kinda felt on Barakamon's level aside from the much bigger bundle of comedy genre. It was really great. 10 in my book.
There was a spin off about sensei in high school. But I haven't seen it.
It isn't Saturday, Junon Boy
They made him a gary stu
This
Hey, Naru, that's rude!
Never!
A cutie.
It will never be saturday again.
>Baraka
>Barakamon
It's amazing how Handa wasn't ever tempted to drain his balls inside this 10/10 tomboy qt.
I think he understands that if he did that, he'd never leave that island ever again
did any girl "win"?
>he'd never leave that island ever again
Isn't that kind of what he wanted though?
>Naru's seiyuu is probably too old for the role now
This kills me.
Well, Naru's basically his daughter/little sister at this point. Some people think there's going to be an Usagi Drop type of ending but I think the author is better than that. But if you're talking in terms of romance, Sensei is still a socially awkward bachelor of the highest caliber.
>but I think the author is better than that
What are you talking about. Naru is the absolute best choice for sensei.
Naru is prime daughteru material, made for headpats, exasperated indulgences, and the occasional direct shot of FEEL through the heart. Not for all that icky grownup romance stuff.
I don't expect her to be ready for romance stuff just yet, but in a few years she will be of breeding age and will naturally start to feel interest in that sort of thing. Sensei would be the most suitable partner for her to learn about love and her budding sexuality.
Hopefully never.
Nah. If anything, I think Naru will be oblivious until she's well into her teens. By then Sensei will probably have found a nice girl his age to settle down with. Assuming, of course, he doesn't end up forever alone as a last parting shot by the author.
Since the manga's about growth Naru will probably come to feel strongly for Sensei in a different way than she does for her family. But I don't think it'll ever go Usagi Drop or A Child's Time on us. At least I sincerely hope not, that large of an age gap with such a young girl is pretty creepy.
She just did a role for a video game not too long ago and sounds exactly the same
JIBUN RASHISATTE NANDA?
There's a fangirl that managed to get in sensei "grace" back in Tokyo,
but Handa is still thinking only about calligraphy
Am I the only one who watched Handa-kun but not Barakamon?
And I'm not planning to watch it.
He was secretly gay.
...
Miwa wanted it too.
As someone who's seen and liked both, Barakamon is the better of the two. The anime adaptation was actually pretty damn good too, it's worth watching.
If you liked the humour in Handa-kun then you'll probably like Barakamon's jokes too. You'll just get less comedy and more thoughtfulness. But there's still plenty of light-hearted and humorous moments.
>At least I sincerely hope not, that large of an age gap with such a young girl is pretty creepy
That's the real issue here, isn't it. For me I tend to like pairings with an awkward guy and a young genki girl. As long as the guy genuinely cares for her then I find it cute, not creepy. But YMMV. I'm glad that the Japanese don't seem to have an issue with it most of the time, so Naru can remain in the running for the sensei bowl.
>At least I sincerely hope not, that large of an age gap with such a young girl is pretty creepy
Why are you here
The ED is pure bliss.
Naru and sensei are already hot and heavy together
For the rare threads that aren't about shitposting, waifus, or general asshattery,
I can live with it when it happens, and I'm no stranger to stories with large age gaps, but I just can't shake the uneasy feeling of a girl getting with an older guy just because she hasn't known much else. It probably won't end well once she starts to wonder what she's missed and what she hasn't experienced yet. Especially a girl like Naru who is always off to find or see something new. I wouldn't be able to accept the "happy ever after" ending that would result in them being together.
And can you seriously imagine the villagers trusting Handa with Naru? They love Hina and the rest of the kids, but they absolutely dote on Naru. They don't even trust Handa to feed himself.
>people actually think naru is in the handabowl
What the fuck on some you going on about?
> It probably won't end well once she starts to wonder what she's missed and what she hasn't experienced yet
When will this shit meme die? Objectively a ridiculous worry if you look at the success rates of marriages vs number of partners the woman had. Though I don't think Naru romantic option for Junon boy, Tomboy's who I'd guess, especially if we contrast this series with Yotsubato.
It's just modern day whores who want to play the field who think that way. In previous generations girls got married young and to their first partner and those marriages lasted.
In this generation it's still the same, sure virgins will be less common but the ones that want to stick to one guy won't be tempted thinking about what they missed, it just doesn't work that way.
>It probably won't end well once she starts to wonder what she's missed and what she hasn't experienced yet. Especially a girl like Naru who is always off to find or see something new.
I'd say she's the kind of girl who'd rather experience real love with a single man, as opposed to play around with dozens of different guys who will mostly cre about her ass.
Because when you think about it, if you spend your life with your first real love, you get to experience what people who switch parterns multiple times before settling will never get to experience.
And we can't know wich one of the two options is the best since nobody can make a comparition, as it's impossible to experience both.
I've been raised with Disney movies an all the love stories talking about the one true love, but maybe American and Korean drama where people sleep around a lot before the end of the show are not wrong since they also have a lot of fans.
Handa's pretty much a big brother to her. That one chapter where he gets over-protective over her after he misunderstands a spat between her and her dad as her dad beating her or some shit was adorable.
There's this chick.
>And we can't know wich one of the two options is the best since nobody can make a comparition, as it's impossible to experience both.
You can look at rates of depression/self reported happiness vs number of sexual partners, results are quite clear in favour of tradition.
>dark hair
>beauty mark
