I say aye instead of Ai because technically they're written differently. The spoken aye is in Katakana, while I believe Ai the gaseous lifeform is written with the Kanji for "Love."

On the map Ging drew, Brion was listed as a grade A threat. The extras call it a B+ threat, same as Zobae.
Either a retcon or the expedition has caused V5 to reevaluate the calamities. It has been over 50 years since the last one. New countermeasures could have been developed that caused Brion to drop a grade, which could also explain why the labyrinthine city may be the current expedition's target.
