From the shows that are airing right now, I'm watching: >Citrus >Yuru Camp >Colors >Antarctica >Cardcaptor Sakura I dropped: >Slow Start >Koizumi Ramen >Marchen Madchen
I'm planning to watch VeG and Franxx to see what the shitposting is all about.

I 100% agree with your list except about citrus
It's getting pretty good.
I would enjoy it way more if they didnt try to progress the romance with poor written sexual assault all the time.
Im not triggered by it but it feels like really lazy writing to me but I agree that it got better in the latest episode.
There's a clear trend inside kyoani of doing more character heavy stories and less braindead moe. I for once welcome this trend and I wish them success because stuff like Hibike, Koe no Katachi and VEG is what I enjoy the most in anime.
VEG looks like a one-time thing, there's way too many details in there to keep shoving on every one of their shows. And Shouko looks like a dork.
Currently watching and enjoying very much. Watching, up to date on episodes, very much into it >Darling in the Franxx (fun as fuck) >Killing Bites (fun as fuck) >Koi wa Ameagari no You ni (Even though I can't self-insert, I still feel like rooting for Tachibana) >Death March (fun as fuck, even though it's a predictable self-insert OP main character trapped in an isekai) >Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san (cute and fun) >Ryuuou no Oshigoto (cute as fuck) >Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (cute as fuck) >Mitsuboshi Colors (cute and fun as fuck) >Citrus (a little too much drama, but the yuri kissing makes up for it) >Kokkoku (fun, good action) >Overlord II (This has bored me so far, but I have a higher than average loyalty to the series due to the strength of the first season)
Watching, but behind by a few weeks or considering dropping due to lack of interest >Yuru Camp (when I watch it, I enjoy the episodes, but it's hard to get in the mood each week, given the complete lack of any real motivation for the main character - she just goes camping to sit in a chair and read books? shit's boring af) >Marchen Madchen (they hooked me with the exhibitionist/nude girl suddenly enrolling at Hogwarts premise, but so far the melodrama and lack of plot development in 5 episodes has been a disappointment)
Was watching, but lost motivation to continue (effectively dropped) >Violet Evergarden (slow, boring as fuck) >Hakumei to Mikochi (slow, boring as fuck) >Grancrest Senki (low quality writing, then sudden-onset NTR)
Dropped early on or screened (decided it wasn't my taste) >Pop Team Epic >Toji no Miko >Slow Start >Miira no Kaikata >Takunomi >Sora Yori mo Tooi Bashi (I can tell that it's a quality show, but this kind of drama just isn't my bag) >Beatless (watched two episodes -not even worth giving it the three ep rule, awful) >Dagashi Kashi S2 >Most other continuations

>Dropped >>Poptepipic >>Yuru Camp Makes no fucking sence.
>claims to be "too mature" for sexual innuendo >watches anime whose primary audience are 11 year old girls
Because nostalgia doesn't exist.
>>Ryuuou no Oshigoto! >Thought loli would make the show better but Chinese chess is boring How many episodes did you watch? I thought it would be another boring Mahjong show too, but this is is actually the real deal - spiritual successor to anime like Rou-Kyuu-Bu and Tenshi no 3P.
Smaller eyes make it easier to animate emotion, rather than just sticking a giant eyeball decal on the face and calling it a day.
I mean, there are anime that managed emotion with giant eyes, (see Shamanic Princess), but they were usually on an OVA budget.
Pop team epic is unfunny and lolsorandom. No idea why he dropped Yuru Camp though, it's a pretty comfy CGDCT.
>itt edgy kids not into comfy stuff Figures.
>implying that's the only immature anime you're watching
I've yet to see the cheap sex shit on Yuru Camp. Do you have a problem with comfy shows?
Currently watching >Citrus >Yuru Camp >Hakumen to Mikochi >Franxx >Potepipic >Mitsuboshi Colors >Takagi >Killing Bites >Baioreto Evergarden >Gdmen's Party >Junji Ito Collection >Sora Yori I also have Osomatsu-san S2 on hold since episode 6, I don't want to drop it but I have almost no motivation to continue.
The bizarre thing you did was claiming that sex is "immature." You're never too old for sex.
Sure, bro. Make sure to link your images here from imgur too.
I didn't know I was supposed to hate sex altogether instead of just another teen shit in anime.

I've got it all downloaded. I remember when the first OVA came out, I tried about 10 minutes of that, but realizing how slow the pacing was going, I decided to wait until more episodes came out. Given the slow OVA release schedule and subsequent delay between the last OVA and the anime coming out, it feels like an indefinite punt, but people say it's good, so I still plan to watch it.
>Killing Bites How are you watching Darling, but you couldn't finish more than 1 episode of Killing Bites?
Also, >watching yuru camp and other cgdct anime >dropping takagi-san Wtf?
Yo, are they fucking watching Kelly's Heroes?
masterpiece imo i dont care what anyone says. good thing you didnt finish first episode,it was hell having to wait months for the next ova. i rewatched the previous episodes everytime a new ova came out and it got me really hyped for the show and it didnt disappoint me
Swap "watching" and "dropped", and people might actually take you seriously.
>How are you watching Darling, but you couldn't finish more than 1 episode of Killing Bites? 2 episodes. How the fuck are you even comparing them? >dropping takagi-san Again, why are you comparing takagi-san and something like yuru camp? They're completely different.

Darling in the Franxx/Killing Bites: >average japanese boy suddenly meets a wild-mannered beast-girl >beast-girl opens up a whole new world of fast-paced action and fighting for him >beast-girl does most of the fighting, but she still needs the main character's support >sexual tension thrown in for good measure >shadowy organization is behind the scenes, orchestrating much of the logistics of the fighting
With Yuru Camp/Takagi-san, people are mostly watching them because they want to watch cute schoolgirls doing cute things. The genre is mostly irrelevant to that end.

How can you drop Antarctica and watch Yuru Camp? They feel identical to me but Antartica bounces from drama to comedy a lot.
The artystyle is jarring mainly.

Holy shit, you are literally retarded >average japanese boy suddenly meets a wild-mannered beast-girl He is not average, you dumbshit, he is pretty much exceptional in both senses in comparison with our ordinary and in ditf world. >>beast-girl opens up a whole new world of fast-paced action and fighting for him He was training his entire life for that. He was literally made for that. >beast-girl does most of the fighting, but she still needs the main character's support He controls Strelizia >sexual tension thrown in for good measure This is describes 95% of anime shows. >shadowy organization is behind the scenes, orchestrating much of the logistics of the fighting Nothing "shadowy" about them in ditf, they're pretty much openly govern. Have yo even tried to watch ditf instead of reading threads couple of times?
Because antartica bounces from drama to comedy a lot?
Sure, but "boring" isn't in all situations bad. There are moments when you just want to not think about anything.

Boring is very subjective you mong. It's why so many watching Yuru Camp dropped stuff like VEG and Mahoustukai
>Watching CCS OPM Lain Tutu Lucky Star
Super entry level, I know.
Not him, but I dropped Antarctica at ep 1, but am still watching Yuru Camp (although it bores me to tears since there's no conflict at all). The whole premise of "my mother got 'lost' in Antarctica, so I'm going to go there to find her" should tip you off that the climax of Antarctica will involve the characters breaking down in tears, balling their eyes out at the realization that the mom is dead as fuck/not coming back. I expect it to be like Clannad or Ano Hana in that regard. The resolution will be coming to terms with death. It's very clearly laid itself out as a drama from ep 1, and as such, it's hard to watch expecting true comfiness. For me, I'm not comfy if I'm emotionally tied up in this kind of drama.
Yuru Camp is a true "yuru" anime. It's easy-going. There's no conflict, no tension, nothing. The main character just goes outdoors to read books and we have the pleasure of watching her do it. I think there's probably a potential for tension (is there something going on at home that causes her to run away like that?), but the story isn't going in that direction. Instead, it's going to be a making-friends story, and that can be done without much tension at all. The potential is for the last episode to be just like the fist, free of drama, just easy-going and comfy. Pic related is the typical person trying to get through an episode of Yuru Camp.
I can only drop a show whilst it's airing. I'm likely to revisit it once it's completed airing just so I can finish it off. If I'm binging it from the get-go, I always complete it.
>Currently watching citrus VEG pop team epic >dropped FRANXX
Best season in a long time desu, will have to wait until it finishes but it is likely going to surpass Summer 2017
I'm not going to get into a big, autistic argument in the middle of the day where we quote each other line-by-line. Hiro is average as fuck in the story we are presented. He can "sort of" pilot franxxes, but in the first episode, he was already being sent home because of being such a failure. He has some ability, but not enough to succeed on his own. That sounds like a typical sort of story to me. All of your nitpicking is similarly retarded. You are literally nitpicking all this bullshit because you can't accept the possibility that you might be wrong about something. Why you expect anyone to take you seriously is beyond all rationality.

=========hard drop line========== ramen daisuki
I'm only drop homoshit, and i can't watch more than 14-16 anime in one season.
>i can say that kemono friends and nge are same show It's weird how you can fail to comprehend what I did in to such a degree that you'd say something like this. First, I never said that the stories are exactly the same. I said that there are certain shows you're not watching that have the same kind of appeal as shows you're watching. When you prompted me to clarify, I did. Didn't you think it was weird that I explained the appeal of Killing Bites differently than the way I explained the appeal of Takagi-san?
It was only after being presented with an argument you couldn't refute, due to the strength of my reasoning, and which you simultaneously couldn't accept, due to your emotional preconvictions, that you went ballistic and are now making ridiculous claims about NGE and Kemono Friends. Cognitive dissonance is a crazy thing, huh? Wake up, user. Be less insane.
you're missing Colors on sunday and loli shogi on Monday
>Boring is very subjective No, it really isn't. Unless you're actually fascinated by everything in the way a puppy or small child might be, you can definitely quantify tension in a plot, the lack of which can be described as being boring.

Do you think murder, rape or theft can ever be virtuous?
so seems like franxx and yurucamp are must watch before spring starts?
>the capability for someone to enjoy something is objective Are you really stupid or are you just pretending?
How many fallacies do you intend to use on this simple argumentation about anime ?
>people watching death march Why?
>tfw so many Citrusbros in this thread I love you all.
watching marchen madchen dropping pop team epic
While I did not drop Sora Yori, its writer, Hanada, is a complete hack. He can't do subtle drama. Show's atmosphere can go from lighthearted in nature to an end of the world in the matter of seconds and then go back to normal in a blink of an eye. This was highlighted in the passport episode. They are yet to reach Antarctica, but I'm preparing myself for the worst.
It's not a fallacy to ask you a question. Do you think absolute truth exists? If so, then it follows logically that an anime's boringness can be quantified. If you don't think absolute truth exists, then it logically follows that you think everything is subjective, including morality. It's really just a simple question, user. Please answer it.
You've never tried any sort of creative writing yourself, have you? Do you think interesting stories just happen randomly?
>scroll through the thread >several people said they're watching death march >several of them included reasons why they like it
Hmm! This is a real mystery, user. I wish you the best of luck in solving it.
