but her hairpins were like a zanpakto

Her powers are special due to the influence of the hougyoku

More like Kubo is a hack that didn’t even know what to make Orihime so he gave Narita the ok to make her a fullbringer.

Hey Lon. Anything new and interesting from the novel?

But Ichigo was like a Hogyoku too. And her pins tell her he is the reason they exist.

Not really.
Yes, but it still hasn't been confirmed that Ichigo is the reason.

literally who cares?

If you didn't you wouldn't be here.

...

Novels aren't canon.
This.

Damn, that wasn't obvious from beginning?

...

This.

And it's absolute nonsense.

What exactly?

Because how her powers were never described or compared to a Fullbringers. Orihime abilities were always shrouded in mystery as something different. Seriously, nigga. If she IS one; you're telling me Kubo couldn't spare a line on a speech bubble for Ginjo or Riruka to identify her as a Fullbringer? This is either a retcon or Kubo is a bigger hack than I thought.

>fanfic
No, nothing is confirmed. Pathetic this is thread-worthy really.

If true, then that is actually a really crummy way to finally explain her powers after all these years.

I'm starting to doubt the canon of this novel. I'm pretty sure if Kubo continued to write the manga, this wouldn't be the explanation.

>novel
lol

well, I guess that's a fine way to streamline the powersets.

Orihime's a goddamn fae and we all know it
it's especially obvious before she turns into a moeblob

It at the very least reeks of story retconing.

The fact that her abilities were called out and taken note of by various characters over the course of the series as *something special* rather then being simply identified as a Fullbringer make the decision to now say she is one is dubious at best.

I always got the impression she was either a part of the Soul King or a pure, superpowered human.

When do we get naked apron?

>pure, superpowered human.
This, like Kanonji though I wouldn't be surprised if the hack novelist wanted to retcon he was a Fullbringer too. I'm glad Sup Forums's realizing the novels are just fanfic.
And, speaking of the Soul King, does anyone else think the reason Orihime couldn't save the Soul King was because Yhwach used The Almighty? In that scene, she's the first to point out his pupils, and she projects her defense shield, not her healing one. This mistake wasn't fixed in the volume, when art mistakes like Kyoraku's eyepatch were. I think it was foreshadowing the Almighty's real power.

This is probably the first thing I actually loathe from these new novels.
Pretty much everything so far has been "in-tune" with what Kubo left off, and even gave some well needed answers.

But this is simply nonsense. Like the picture here said, those powers were born because of Ichigo, and as said, Orihime spent so long around Xcution members, you'd think they'd say something about it if she was one of them.
This is not only plain retcon, but also laziness of the highest order - instead of getting actually creative, the novel author just took a step back and got the easy way out. Hell, he even mentions the hougyoku, why not go down that way?
>Ichigo triggers the birth of the power
>the Will of the Hougyoku nurtures it
Wow that was difficult uh.
Shame, really.

We really should have gotten a fucking databook.

>all these shitty headcanons getting BTFO'd by based Narita

I've been saying shes a Fullbringer for years, glad it's finally confirmed

>but its not canon
Still better than user's shitty headcanon

We should have expected this after Narita's Kenpachi novel.

BLOODWAR ANIME FUCKING WHEN?

It's canon until Kubo says it isn't

>le based
Our sister site is two sites down user.
>headcanon
So was yours until Narita headcanon was made public.
Also, "ours" was not a headcanon.
She's obviously not a shinigami, she's still alive and her soul is in her body.
She's obviously not a Quincy, she can't manipulate outside reishi, nor she can eradicate Hollow existance, nor she was affected by Yhwach powers/Auswaelen.
And by all means, she's not supposed to be a Fullbringer either, as her parents were never stated to be attacked by Hollows and as such she has no Hollow power to attach itself to something and manifest like ALL other Fullbringers.

It's called extrapolation, user, not headcanon.

Kubo never stated whether the Spirits Are Forever With You novels are canon or not, but the fact that Narita came up with his own Kenpachi's shikai power and then Kubo did something different in TYBW, should be telling.
These new novels directly reference SAFWY, so where does that leave us?
You tell me fuccboi.

Kubo did the exact same thing and called Narita a level 4 reader. He's not obligated to draw for the novels, but he does it anyway if he likes what the author has written. He did for the previous 2 Narita novels and he'll do it again for this one.

Hopefully never, I don't want to see QUALITY nor shitty fillers.

What if's a little of both? Ichigo's powers are partly Hollow in nature and he sucked at keeping his spiritual pressure under control. Ichigo is the reason why most of his friends started becoming spiritually aware, but what if was just the first step into turning them into fullbringers?

More of these. Thank you

I don't know how to record videos on my shitty iphone, let alone crop them.

Bleach is still around? I thought it had ended years ago with that 640 manga where ichigo gets married to rukia and has a daughter

I do think White is partly responsible for her powers, now, who had the hogyoku at the time?

Rukia.

I thought that was confirmed ages ago.

I wouldn't say it's confirmed until we get a better translation.

>Ichiyuu

Kek.

you do realize that's the one thing he said in those posts that wasn't retarded, right? He probably just couldn't read the furigana from the early leaks when he posted that. second post was full retard though.

Where is my "LoN just wants to watch the world burn" post.

Ichigo married Orihime and had a son. Rukia married Renji, and had a daughter. Keep up user.

Here it is

>Novels aren't canon.

They are.

So Ichigo impregnated Orihime with little creatures before he impregnated her with a little creature. It's like pottery.

The furigana was right there when I saw the spoilers, how did he not read it. Ichika's name was written with a wrong kanji in the first spoiler release though.

At least we got some good laughs out of the dumblr cucks trying to prove her name was a combination of Rukia and Ichigo or Ichigo and Kaien.

>Novels
I thought 'twas mere curiosity...

I tought he was laughing because Ichiyuu sounds like "I shit you" in engrish

The furigana didn't come out for another 2 hours after the spoiler text was posted and also it sounded really shippy, so I went with it because it would cause the most mayhem. You're forgetting that I was still butthurt and petty when the spoilers began flowing in.

At least you have changed your ways.

Friendly reminder that this Saturday we'll be getting a new Kubo interview: sp.shonenjump.com/j/50th/

And before that?
