It's also from the director of symphogear and has a character that inspired hibikis design.
I'm pretty sure I can reccommend it as a solid cardgame anime, even though it's on motorcycles, after having watched all yu-gi-oh! seasons and a lot of vanguard, wixoss and duel masters

It's also the show that features "Clear Mind" which is considered by masaaki endoh, as the song that gave him his breakthrough.
He used to sing a lot of songs for sentai and mecha shows like GaoGaiGar etc; and now he's one of the leader singers of JAM Project who sang the OPM OP with him.

There are a multitude of shows that stand out for their animation or soundtrack.
I would say redline is in the middle for having appealing visuals and a fitting soundtrack.
A lot of shows rarely make full use of good soundtracks to make a scene a lot better, that's also a reason some scenes leave a lot more impact since you remember a good song to go with it.
I liked 5D's a lot too since it's like pic related a kids show made with more mature themes and a lot of passion.
Both are are underrated in their own franchises.

I think 5D's is pretty highly regarded as far as Yugioh goes. Nostalgia fags only like the original of course, but people that watched the series as a whole seem to regard the Signer arc as one of the high points. Too bad they had to keep shitting the story up even during the original arc.

They're only good for architecture and graphic design. They have neat frames, but they do not add up to good visual direction. That would be like saying a building with an elaborate entrance room while everything else is made of prefabricated panels has good architecture.

This show was actually worth the watch.
Usually I don't listen to Sup Forums but this was quite the good ride.
The average fan mostly avoids it because it's on motorcycles and nostalgia.
In my opinion the motorcycles allowed these soundtracks being so hype since they would be too fast for standing duels.
I found the 2nd part with the sci-fi more enjoyable but I can see the Signer arc being 2nd best.
