What video player is the best one right now? I just reset my PC and I'm not sure if the HOW_DID_I_PLAYED_BACK.txt from old nyaa is still the preferred way. Dickfeed me please.

CCCP.
mpv
VCL if you are not a contrarian
mpc werks 99%, only for the last one 1% I still don't know how to screenshot with the sub text included. I crop it in paint by hand...
vlc
SMPlayer with mpv as engine using opengl-hq as output driver, you can also customize it to use MPC interface.
I got it working by messing with options in pic related.
MPC-BE + madvr
This is more of a Sup Forums thing but I use VLC player. However Sup Forums has an entire general dedicated to MPV but I've never used it.
I use MPV with this as the config thing. I'm not the biggest qualityfag so I don't actually know if this is a good config or not but it looks fine to me

Have you ever been on the thread? Those guys will load a shit ton of placebo filters overloading their PC in order to achieve the ultimate placebo quality, what user posted was a sane and simple config file.
I'll sure be testing this later, thank you very much for your help.
Anything but VLC. I use mpv.
MPC
Don't work for me, but I hear that it's a problem with the x64 version. It's true?
In the end, I went with the same old guide using MPC-HC with MadVR that was on nyaa. Everything is working fine.
Doesn't look like it's that simple. The option to export my settings to an ini file is disabled for whatever reason. It's probably for the best that you look into other options anyway, since mpc is no longer being developed.
MPC-HC (64-bit)
