If you read any of her previous oneshots or even her het S&M series you'd know she only focuses on certain character and relationship types. The het guy was basically a male Mei.

Forgot the dad. They are not villians, but all of them were introduced randomly when Saburouta needed some drama between the main characters and didn't know what to write.
Almost everyone agrees that volume 6 is the best because it doesn't have side characters that are necessary to develop Mei and Yuzu's relationship, they learnt about each other and improved their romance on their own. At the end, all the side characters (except Nene who is a meme) had the exact same purpose: to cause drama/tension between the MCs and eventually help them to get closer and closer (directly or not). Saburouta mentioned the obstacles that Mei and Yuzu face together. Is this enough to consider them Villian of the week? I'd say yes, but more like Villian of the Arc. Every arc more or less follow this same pattern.
